Is it just me, or has anyone else got back into it? Im simply loving it, reminds me of my youth big time...
 
It's not just you mate, it's happened to me as well! I'm back on the old skool big time. I'm trying to hunt down Mikee B's 'Back 2 95' tape.
 
oh good man hecto, i kinda thought of you when i was typing this thread up, your like my mini-me when it comes to musical taste!
do you know of any rapidshare links to some of the old skool? i can get mixes, but i cant find anywhere, where i can get the full length stuff eg. amar - sometimes it snows in april, the entire artful dodger back catalogue etc..

PS - maybe i should pm you this, but while im here, i just thought i'd let you know, ive seen someone on facebook who's advertising that he's got about 2270 old skool garage tracks on 5 dvds for sale (*** £20 plus p&p) ive seen his tracklist, and its pretty much about 50-60% of whats been out from 1996-2001, if you're interested, i can give you his facebook details so you can message him (if you have facebook that is)...
 
someone give me one track that will convert me to this shit. I'm quite open minded

lets have a think, how about Amar - Sometimes It Snows In April? or how about Artful Dodger - Girls Like This? check those two out

my personal fave though, is Mark Ryder Ft. MC Vapour - Joy (infact, I'd say the Instrumental version is better, but thats me...)

safety mate, no worries, PM me your facebook name, or URL, and ill send it ya, its got nearly all the tracks im looking for, except for Sticky - Triplets and Amar - Sometimes It Snows In April, but I think I should be able to get them off limewire or DC++ when I go back home...

Oh, and do you know any RS links for any Bassline (or Niche, if you call it that), as you may have sussed, I'm sooo getting back into my Garage vibe lol!
 
I reckon either Scott Garcia - It's A London Thing or Roy Davies Jr - Gabriel. Obviously the last one isn't strictly UK Garage, but it's been adopted to it anyway, and most people class it as one of the greatest Garage tunes ever.

Personally, 'Gabriel' is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Well, that site streams right? I should be able to run those songs through a choice of programs and convert them into MP3 anyway. I'll have a look and see what programs I need, then I'll tell you exactly how to do it and you can rip convert all of those tracks from that site in no time.

Do you mind if I keep upping stuff here? I'll check out the mix you posted now mate.
