Florentino Pérez announced his ouster to Carlo Ancelotti. Conf press announced at 20:00. Analysis to follow #LECLUB @beinsports_FR

If a United manager won the European cup and FA cup in his first season and then finished second and lost the league by only 2 points in his second season and got fired I would be so pissed off.

He's a great manager and doesn't deserve this at all.

They real are a bunch of fecking idiots. In Rafa we trust

Horrible football club, maybe I'm just bias (okay, incredibly bias) but I don't get the pull of that club anymore. Of course they have a history that stands up, even overtakes the majority but the way they treat world class managers, the way their fans turn on players (I mean boo'ing Ronaldo, the guy who'll break every record at that club when he doesn't score for a game or two).. they are a horrible club.

Guess those Rafa rumours are going to be true now..

I shouldn't be as shocked as I am because it's Real. But come on.

I fecking hate Madrid.

Meh, that's the way Madrid operate, by all accounts he's a nice guy but his league record is shocking (3 in 18 years) with some of the teams he's managed that's inexcusable and it's going to take something special to win the league over this Barca side imo (although the transfer ban may help, allowing them to strengthen whilst Barca stand still) also, he was probably about 1 minute away from being sacked last season as well. Not a fan of how it's come out though, been pretty much an open secret for close to a week now, Madrid should've handled it a lot better.

They let go of so many good managers that they put themselves in a position of having no real alternatives to Rafael Benitez, a man that has won next to nothing over the past decade.

Such a strange club.

Feel sorry for the genuinely decent Madrid fans like Vato and Raul Madrid. Will they ever get any kind of consistency?

Ronaldo you say?

They really have a thing for letting people Ronaldo actually likes, leave the club.

Ozil, ADM, now Ancelotti.

How long before the yearly Ronaldo to United rumours begin?

He had a terrible season. I wouldn't say he deserved to be sacked but this is far from the joke decision everyone is claiming.

Chelsea did the same thing and eventually hired Benitez.
