They've been doing it for years with Fifa so it was no surprise when they eventually crushed the better 2k sports titles with the exclusivity deal. I'm still unsure how it gets past monopoly laws.

But to be fair to EA, at the start of the decade Madden was the daddy of NFL games. Madden '03 and '04 are probably the best ever made.
