In terms of sport gaming though they've upped the ante, for me personally that's what matters.

Im pretty sure EA are also producers for the most, only the sports titles are made by EA Games (and the sims maybe?). Most of need for speed and battlefields are made by other developers.

They still add their name to the franchise and apart from Fifa 08/09, their sports games have been sub par to the competition. In fact, they drove Sega out of town in the NFL genre because they were being raped.
