I thought I’d be one of only a few to have him aswell so I thought I’d get a bigger advantage this week but turns out quite a lot have him aswell as Bowen.

I went with Bruno as I thought Rashford's bubble would burst, Maddison who then was out for ages, Almirion the same and Bentacuer out for the season!

Ye, Ronaldo, Salah, Kane and haaland was all banned. Only Kane has an even number though. Otherwise he’d be in everyone’s picks no doubt. Not sure why he wasn’t aloud to be picked.

Maybe allow 1 substitution to account for an injury, goals going forward only count, not retrospectively, I was screwed after a month because of injuries to multiple players!

Don't know if it would be too much work, but PM'ing picks might make the squads a bit more varied as people forget about some potential players.

So if you had Player A and they scored 3 goals but got injured, and Player B was used to replace them, would the 3 goals from Player A still count on top of what Player B gets from the time you pick him?

It's something I like the sound of but main concern is how it would affect the signups - the LMS competitions tend to get hundreds because the threads get bumped every time someone joins. The 60ish entrants in this is to be expected with it being more involved, would having it PM only and thread not being bumped harm the number of people playing rather than making things more varied?

Ah yeah that is a very good point. I do imagine you'd get a log of PM sent or players submitted posts, but it does take away that discussion on the players at the start.

Yes, keeps it more interesting for longer I think as I'm sure there's quite a few who lose interest when they get a few of injuries - but if it's too much work then forget it - it's supposed to be fun not a big workload

I'd try a budget version next. Everyone gets 8m. The 'banned' players cost 6-7m. The rest 1m. Then it's up to everyone if they want 1 banned + 1 regular player or 8 regular players.

How about having a goalkeeper, representing a team (so not one who never plays), lose a goal for every one he concedes but gains one for every one his team scores, no duplicate teams, so if you choose DDG you can't have another United player - bit more complicated or maybe getting a tad silly

It would be good to have something where you can drop points so it makes it easier for other people to catch up to the ones at the top end of the table. If a lot of people have all similar players then there’s no way of gaining advantages over them.
