He is a very very good goalkeeper. I think he is the best option to replace de gea. How much we pay for him is upto the club, but i was really jealous that city were close to getting him and we were linked with Joe fecking clanger dropping hart. It would be very good business if we could get him. Very solid keeper and great with his feet.

As much as it pains me to say this guy is ice cool. Best Benfica player and has a fantastic shot as well.

I think he's probably better than Oblak.

He can shoot well? So a goal keeper/ striker? This I really wanna see. Presumably he gets up and down the pitch very quickly. I'm sold! Sign him up.

They want €60m and own 50% of his rights? Am I missing something? We could get Oblak for €60m with plenty of change.

He'd probably go and be great there. Already had a very successful half-season stint Belenenses, I believe. We should just long-term loan him out for 2 seasons to continue to flourish in a Courtois-like manner, he could come back a great second choice 'keeper (if Romero isn't still here).

Pretty sure he has some outrageous fee clause himself tho. Oblak I mean.

Now, it's Mourinho. And we are linked with Bernardo Silva, Fabinho, Semedo, Willian, Danilo Pereira, Cancelo, Andre Silva, Guedes, Gelson Martins and every other half decent Portuguese & Brazilian player out there. Coincidence? I think not.

a) I never believe a thing linking us to portuguese players, especially those from Benfica, nowadays.

b) He seems like the type of keeper Pep would obsess over and I reckon he's more likely to go there if anywhere.

Difference here is, those players would actually be very useful.
 
One of the few Benfica players that deserves the hype. Great goalkeeper. Him or Oblák would be good replacements for De Gea.

My thinking too, for me De Gea is the best keeper in the world and his transfer should reflect that.

Not seen this Benfica lad but but he cannot be valued at the same level at De Gea.

Not saying otherwise. Mourinho needs to separate the Bernardo Silvas from the other 'wonderkids' out there.

However, there are an awful lot of these prospects that are marketed by Portuguese canteras for some quick dough. We need the tried and tested products.
 
Bluemoon have for a long time assumed he is heading for City. I would imagine he will sign for City before we know whether Real Madrid are willing to make a big enough offer for De Gea.
 
Any and all portugese media should be banned, nothing but bullshit.
 
If De Gea ever leave, I trust Romero is good enough to be United No. 1.
