The few times I've seen him he's really impressed, such a classy player and tough in the tackle as well, love to see him at United.
Scholes-esque ?

He is sublime, Sahin - can't praise him enough, to be honest. He's a cracking set-piece taker, has a sweet left foot.can we get him? seems perfect for us. he also has a good left foot. i don't know if he takes set pieces though. funny how he does not get linked with us that much.
i really want fergie to get him to OT. i believe he can be awesome for us.

If you can, try to catch him tonight - Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund v Schalke, kick-off: 7:30PM.
The build-up to the match this time around is very intense - Dortmund are top of the league with 50 points (from a possible 60), a stunning 25 points ahead of Schalke. They beat their rivals 3-1 at their ground back in September and are hoping to do the double over them this year. They could do a ''perfect season'' - a double over their fiercest rivals and win the league for the first time in 9 years.thats one hell of a match. Ruhrgebiet derby !
It's strange that with all the transfer rumour bullshit that goes on Sahin is hardly ever linked with anyone except Liverpool and that is only low key. Every time I have seen him he has been pure class in the Pirlo mould.
I want him and Kagawa. That would be Scholes and Hargreaves replaced
I wish
You don't get me. I didn't bother about order. Sahin is viewed as a holding player of the Pirlo mould and Kagawa an attacking midfielder. We will need next season a holding player and an attcking midfielder/playmaker. That is what I meant by them to replacing a Scholes and Hargreaves.....How would Kagawa, a winger or attacking midfielder, replace Hargreaves? If we were going to sign anyone from Dortmund to replace Hargreaves it would be Bender would it not?

It was a beaut alright. Dortmund should be well up. Neuer has looked good.
He is an attaccking midfielder who is also capable as play maker. Quit being pedantic.Kagawa's not remotely comparable to Scholes though, in role type, in style, anything.
It's not hard to understand is it? Hagreaves is a defensive midfielder/holding player. A holding player of any kind would be a a replacement for him. In your mind you seem think I'm taking like for like replacements. When I'm most certainly not.And Sahin isn't a holding midfielder, he pushes forward a lot on and off the ball. Regardless, how is a holding player of a Pirlo mould in any way a replacement for Hargreaves?
I never ever said he was.Whatever way you look at it Hargreaves is not similar to either,.
I don't think so. SAF rarely goes for like for like replacements for former players unless he is lucky to find one. He usually either goes for something different or something extra.and he'd still need replacing if they were bought.
If not Sahin or Kagawa, I'd like us to get Götze. Massive potential.
Sign all three and be done with it.
Aged only 18 tooSahin had a poor game. He is clearly talented, but his passing was wasteful on the day.
Götze looks special.

Sahin is like the current Scholes but with better defensive ability. Whilst Kagawa is like the Scholes of 1999. I'd be very surprised if SAF isn't aiming to 'Barcarize' our midfield. Making it more about possession keepers than grafters of the Hargreaves ilk.I just think it's a bizarre comparison - Sahin is very comparable to Scholes, Kagawa's very different. .
Eventually one player will break that mould. I believe it is this kid who will. One thing might be worth mentioning though. It seems that few Turkish players were successful in top European leagues apart from Bundesliga.
From top of my head, the last one was Nihat for Real Socidad in 2002/03.
Sven Bender-Gibson swap.
Nah! He is too gritty to ever play for Arsenal. An Arsenal player if ever I saw one
