Norwegian Football Thread

Bah, "this is not the time to reflect" when asked if he wanted to resign. Such a shameless idiot.

He's throwing his players under the bus, basically absolving himself of any blame.

All his presser questions are about wether or not he'll resign, and why he wont resign when everything is going to shit

We picked it up second half, but he's had plenty of time.

What I am really happy about is Dæhli's cameo. Every involvement is quality. With him, Ødegaard and Samuelsen maturing (hopefully), we'll have no lack of creativity and quality in the final third.

We are terrible and have no business going to Russia yo

The Norwegian defence looked almost as shaky as the Kasashstanian defense Denmark played yestersay

This U21 performance caps off a dreadful 12 months. Fecking shite.

Talk about Hamren taking over for Høgmo. Replacing a dinosaur with a clown. Only NFF could do something like that.

Hi guys. Was on the other thread talking about Giggs and the Swansea job when I suddenly thought about Solskjaer.
How is he doing in his second stint at Molde?
I recall reading in the 442 interview in August this year that he was building a more solid team this time round.

He's not building a more solid team. He built a great team the first time, lost most of them, left for shit PL team, came back to a shittier squad. He had a pretty poor season, understandably for a variety of reason. But Rosenborg have gotten their act together, so next season will be interesting. Rosenborg favourites by a huge distance, and Solskjær needs to get 2nd at least. It will be interesting!

Thanks for the update!
Hope that he does well. Reading the 442 interview you get the sense that he evaluated what when wrong for him in Cardiff and what he needs to improve on.
Hopefully he can overcome his challenges and rebuild his reputation.

New coach getting announced this afternoon. Please not another incompetent numpty.

Will be another moron for sure, you seen the way NFF has gone about looking for a new coach?
Anyone with a name has been asked and has turned it down.
0 fecking plans or ideas about what way of playing would fit the team.

Not bad, not bad at all. Pleasantly surprised.

One of the best alternatives.
Excited to see what he can do with Norway, after the results with Iceland, a country with lower population than Bergen.
Hope for a less defensive approach, but that he can make the players work as hard as Iceland did.

The Vegard Forren story is amazing as well. Kudos for screwing over RBK and good luck to him at Brighton. An out of season Forren will surely solve their CB problems...

Bendtner to RBK :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

A year ago Vålerenga made an april fools joke about them signing him. I though this was some kind of early joke but it's actually true :lol:

lol, that's going to be interesting.

tbf, him having played for Wolfsburg and Arsenal means that if he takes it seriously, he'll likely be a huge success for RBK.

Yeah, but what are the chances he'll take it seriously? He's actually hardly scored any goals the last six seasons. How can RBK afford his wages?

Banking on that sweet sweet CL money, maybe? ;P

I dunno... all good questions.

Rosenborg couldn't control Nicki Bille, how on earth are they going to handle Bendtner?

We have to win, as simple as that. Play 442 and long balls with Søderlund and King up top. Nice to have a red hot striker for once.

I expect us to put up a fight and draw the game. It wont be pretty though.

No idea what Lagerbäck plans, we don't have hard working players like he had with Iceland, quite excited to see Norway play for once.
