No Real for us then

Looks tough to me, Deportivo/Juve/Inter are all tough teams, dunno which italian team I would prefer, probably Inter but hey, we've knocked out Juventus before.

So you folks have Depor for sure and we Gooners have Roma in our second group. Of the three Spanish sides, I think I'd prefer Valencia, with Basel thrown in, too. I pity the group that draws Lokomotiv. Visiting Moscow in late November, December, or February would not be a treat.

Valencia are the best side in Spain at the moment...IMO i think Barca would be the 'easiest' draw, out of the three.....

If Arsenal had one of those nights when their atack goes through the opposition like a hot knife through butter, Real would be the easiest IMO.

Depends on whether the Arsenal defence could cope with the Real onslaught though.

Arse have not been impressive in the CL...

I reckon they're also in for a tough group.

This was at the team's official site after the win over Leverkuesen. Either way it looks like the next group could be difficult, especially if United doesn't start playing better. The win today was great but there needs to be more improvement.

I got most of it right yesterday, with the help of RG of course. ;)

Yea--and if Valencia is the top Spanish side and both they and Arsenal come out of the group--we wouldn't see them again until the final. I think I'd rather collide with the other two Spanish teams during the knock out phase. Although it occasionally passes for arrogance (and probably won't pan out) it pays to plan ahead.

Only Barça or Valencia for Arsenal.

Good how other people copy the jist of my thread and then post their own isn't it? ;)

Plagiarism it is called. ;)

We can draw Loko??? Did you guys see that match of them against Brugge yesterday?? That wasn't a pitch that was a snowground.... we better not draw them, not only is it going to be hard, but it's going to be boring to watch too. Give us the likes of Juve and Ajax.

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> I don't want them either. I want Basel to show those scousers just how useless they really are. ;)

Basle=Banana Skin
Liddypool=Monkeys

Valencia=Scary Prospect
Real=Slightly Less Scary Prospect

Bin Laden=Wonderful Singing Voice

Of all the spanish teamsthe one to avoid is valencia, against the rest we have a good chance because their defences are not as good.
