Gaming Nintendo Switch

The Switch is bullet proof, bar the crap joysticks on the joy cons.
My two kids left it out in the pouring rain for three days, when they eventually found the thing it carried on working as new, and has done since then, this was about a year ago now!!
No decent FPS games though as far as I'm concerned unless anyone has any shouts?
I heard Splatoon 2 is pretty good. Haven't played it though.

Nice,
Can't be doing with Fortnite, wish PUBG would come out on the switch,
Apex will do in the mean time though!
Who has time to play 40,000 games?? You're either doing absolutely nothing else or you're really crap and die straight away
I’m approaching 4,000 not 40,000

Is that the paint gun one? Looks pretty fun on the adverts,
That's the one. My friend said he doesn't normally play FPS games as he's shite at them but on this, even if you're the shittest player in the team, you can still contribute to your teams win.

It is a great game, I like it so much and I don't normally play FPS either. Since the goal of the main mode is to paint more than the other team, it is perfectly fine to not touch anyone of the opposite team, even if it can be really satisfying to get them. And even if you are "killed", you come back after few seconds.

There are other modes too. I like too the Salmon run mode.

Cool, thanks,
Sounds like something I can let my kids play as well then!

Is Fire Emblem meant to be played on a TV? I can’t read a damned thing.

No clue, I only play it handheld too. But the text is still quite small.

It probably doesn't help much but I see that people play it on a big TV or have to be close to the TV screen. Try maybe to play on a computer monitor, it may work better?

So what are we all playing at the moment? I just started Paper Mario and love it, can see why people don’t like the battles but it works for me

No dice. I think it may be my corrective lenses; I’ll try it after I take my contacts at night. Otherwise, I’m taking a hammer to it.

It more depends on whether or not you've played the others with the initial impressions I think. However, that being said, the battles quickly become tedious anyway. Bosses aside, what you've already played you are now facing for the entire game more or less. The boss battles are where they should have used that, the rest of the game should have way more variety...or at least some semblance of challenge.

It's definitely the weakest Paper Mario game, despite not actually being a bad game at all on the face of it.

that’s fair, luckily I’ve not played any of the others but at least now It can only be an improvement. I think this is just a case that the style and vibe of the game is keeping me going

Is the Switch still sold out/hard to pick up online and if so what’s the best way of getting into the queue? Was kinda hoping to get one for my Girlfriend for Christmas (also selfishly so I can play it!).

You can order them on Amazon and they will be in stock 11th September if you're willing to wait

Mario 64 Mario Sunshine Mario Galaxy Switch triple pack!!

take my money for the 15th time

I'm playing Link's Awakening, it's decent but I feel a bit too simplistic since its a remake of an old handheld game. Not finished yet, but I would give it around 7.5-8 so far.

I have fire emblem: Three houses as well but just couldn't get going.

the timed thing is ridiculous. I want to buy the physical cartridge but may be forced to go digital because what if I lose the cartridge in April? I won't be able to purchase the game again and will need to rely on what will be expensive preowned copies. Guess I may need to get both!

I think that there will be individual releases next year. It’s the only reason I can think why Galaxy 2 wasn’t included and the 3pack is limited edition.

Are they likely to do similar with Zelda as well?
