Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan admits he is flattered by reported interest from Manchester United, but plans to see out his contract in Portugal reports talkSPORT.
The 23-year-old winger has been regularly linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League, but insists he has not been unsettled by speculation.
"I'm fortunate to play for a team like Benfica, where I'm very happy," said Gaitan. "I am flattered by these rumours but my desire is to fulfil my contract at Benfica, which is a great club."
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a confirmed admirer of the Argentina international, as he looks at ways of strengthening his attacking options at Old Trafford.
Gaitan first came to his attention in the UEFA Champions League encounter between the two clubs in September - which ended in a 1-1 draw at the Estadio da Luz.
"I know that [Sir Alex] Ferguson has spoken well of me," he continued. "But the closest I'll get to Manchester United is when we play them in the Champions League return leg.
"I just hope to play well and help us progress into the next round."
