NHL season 2005-2006

i thought the wings had another home game did'nt realise game 6 was in edmonton.happy days, it's our series to lose, but we won't

The Dead Wings have got another home game, should they win in the Rex on Monday. I've had the Oilers to win in 6 since the play-off's were decided.

hope your right,i'll just be getting home from the middlesborough game by the time it starts, and ive gotta go to work 5:30 tuesday morning, might have to throw a sicky.

No face off time announced yet for Monday, it's either 6pm or 8pm MST. That will make it either 1am or 3pm on Tuesday morning. That's going to be tough if you need to get up. I'm lucky as I don't have to be in work till 2pm on Tues.

Just got back from the ranges game, total shit.

Dominated posession, couldn't finish chances and we must've let the devils piss all over us during their power play.

Dire performance, Jagr getting injured in the first three minutes didn't help at all either. No one to blame but ourselves, really.

Without wanting to to put the mockers on anyone here, it's interesting to note that out of the two teams through in each conference, we've seen divisional winners go through in the East, and yet in the West the opposite. Let's hope that this trend continues.

Mind you a little team from Calgary could be allowed to round two, to set up an interesting battle of Alberta clash possibly.

You´re only bitter because all swedes reject 3 kronor. :D

They need a vacation after winning the Olympics. And I expected them to reject Tre Kronor, at least this time they don't make up shit excuses(Lidström,Näslund...). And the Elitserien players that gets dropped every year when the NHL players join deserves a chance.

Thats bollocks. Your players have over the years ALWAYS rejected 3 kronor, they just couldnt give one feck about playing for their country and in the WC.

The Fins havent the same attitude though.

No most of them don't give a feck about the World Championship. And most players already said after the Olympics that they would reject playing in the World Championships. Who can blame them? It's a shit tournament played way too often.

Finland are doing the same thing we did 98, most players wants revenge after the Olympics and say yes to the NT. You guys are favourites atm can you handle the pressure?:D

Bring on the next round of the Stanley Cup playoffs:drool:

At best we can get to the final, but as you know we wont win it.

The Detroit Dead Wings have fallen, the Oilers progress....

4 third period goals and 2 in the last 4 minutes to take the game.... That was a tense finish, but well worth the wait.... It restores my faith in sport after going to Old Trafford tonight.

Now for the Flames to win tonight, and then the Battle of Alberta can commence. Oh boy that could be a biggie.

good win for the Oilers.
stunning come back.

Red Wings = the Sens' shadow....

don't see what they would need a vacation for? was not as if they played much in the olympics. threw away games and met easy opposition and managed to get a lucky victory in a highly average final.

The reason none of the swedish stars (lidström, sundin, forsberg, alfredsson) will ever play for the national team again is because they know they will never win anything again, was a onetime fluke the olympics where you didn't play well but got lucky and lost the right games. These players won't be in it anymore.

And we won't need to make up for the olympics much, we were the team in the olympics and will be the shit out of the rest in the WC with our players from home / second best NHL stars.

Can I make an emergancy appeal on behalf of Calgary, can all nurses and doctors please get to this Albertan city as soon as possible. It's been reporting that a severe epidemic of CHOKING is taking place, similar to that in 2004...

Of course a BOA would have been nice, it's like soccer, it's always nice to put one over the likes of Liverpool, city, Arsenal etc, but to see them knocked out like this is also enjoyable.

I hadn't realised that the Oilers have been 3-1 over the Sharks this year in the regular season, as opposed to the Flames owning in us over the past couple of years. This may sound crazy, but we lost our last regular season game to the Sharks, just like we did with the Dead Things. This may be an omen, though the Sharks are my favourites for the cup at the mo.
