NFL Thread

I thought this would be the only close game in the divisional round. Was i wrong

Let’s hope the Eagles can keep up with the Saints otherwise it’ll have been a rather boring Divisional round.

I feel vindicated in my opinion that Rivers is terribly overrated. There is just nothing special about him. He’s not clutch at all, too.

The playoffs have been terrible so far. One good game.

I think this game is just icing on the cake of the Brady = Not GOAT argument.

Why does Gillette Stadium look like Robert Kraft just put up some stands and drew a few lines in his backyard

That and BS like “what about everyone who works at Walmart etc.”

Yeah cos they end up with all the various brain trauma.

Tbh, it is still a choice to play in the NFL

There are jobs which are also dangerous and offer much less generous pay

I am not downplaying the severence of head injuries, I am just saying the solution is not to give some rich guys even more money, but a change of rules and a change of culture (which is never gonna happen).

You mean, a bunch of old arseholes with waay more money than they will ever know what to do with, in charge of a league that makes more money than it knows what to do with, should not direct more of said league's money to its players?

I don‘t care either way and have no sympathy for those cartel owners

The NFL needs to take steps to prevent head injuries before they happen, which is a completely different approach

Concussions as collateral damage are not okay just because the players would have insurance after their career

The NfL should not be allowed to pay their way out of this

Like I said there needs to be a change in how fans, players, owners, commentators think about rules, protection, knockout hits etc

I still remember the outrage over the recent rule change for quarterback hits, that was embarassing because it is surely positive if the least protected guys get smashed a bit less and some injuries can be prevented.

I swear if the Eagles fluke another Super bowl I'm done with football .

Please Drew don't let that pond life win again
