NFL Thread 2019

Packers likely to sign Za‘Darius Smith.

We also appear to be favorites for Adrian Amos.

Both of them appear to be done. No infos yet on the pricetags. But I like both signings. Both you g players, who steadily improved throughout the years, still possess upside, immediately improve on our two biggest needs and flew under the radar. Especially Amos excites me. He was the one guy I really wanted.
I guess that means we’re not going to pursue Ford anymore, which is ok. Can’t sign everyone.

We’re also favorites to sign Preston Smith. We’re going all in it seems.

Perry released. Not sure if we let Clay walk.

New signings take about 30m cap space plus we need 3 more for Geronimo. Leaves only 3 or 4m cap space left.

The Browns could be seriously good next year.

Yeah, with Baker, Landry and OBJ and that monster defensive line, think they will finally get back into the postseason.
Plus Kareem Hunt and Njoku, who’s looking better with every game. And the D also has Denzel Ward, who’s sensational. They might be too young to go all the way this year, but they should make the playoffs.

Yeah, when Hunt's inevitable suspension ends he'll be a huge addition. Liked Nick Chubb last year as well, could be a great running back combo.

The Giants and the Knicks oh and lets not forget Sporting...is that a good enough reason to drown myself?

That's why they should have gone with QB instead of Barkley. Now they are in a no win situation and a rebuild which could have started last year. And has led them to trade Obj.

They need to rebuild in any case even of Odell stayed.

Yes. That's my point. Rebuild should have started last year with new QB. What they have ended up doing is
1. Wasted a losing season and top spot in draft order to pick a QB.
2. Wasted a year by delaying the start of rebuild.

The Niners are getting Dee Ford.

Edit:
The trade in itself is agreed to. For a second rounder. The Niners are negotiating an extension with Ford.

They could just as easily pick up a QB in a trade this year. The likes of Bridgewater, Foles, or any number of others. Taking Rosen or Darnold wouldn't have yielded any more success than not taking them since they both underperformed Eli.

But I'm talking about the rebuild and the most imp part of rebuild is the QB. What's the point of any of those QBs such as Foles or Bridgwater or Keenum etc, they are not game changers for the now nor are they your future.

So taking Darnold is not about his first year, it's about having a QB for 15 years to build around.

I get that they need a new QB, but Mayfield went pick one - and what if they were less than convinced by Darnold and Rosen? No point picking one of them if you don't rate them.

Wow... Browns are going to be fun to watch next year.

Jets have made some good moves for once.
