OK sorry for the daft question, but what just happened?
You only get the 4 tries to make it 10 yards, so if you don't manage it in 4 then possession turns over to the other team. Usually they will either kick for goal or kick a punt away to put the ball as far back down the pitch as possible, but they are so far behind they decided to try and keep the play moving.
The Broncos went for it on 4th down and Manning threw an incompletion, so the Seahawks get the ball back.
You have 4 downs to get the 10 yards to begin a new set of downs. Usually a team would kick a field-goal in that situation but Denver went for it to get the new set of downs and failed. As they failed to get the 10'yards in their 4 attempts, Seattle get the ball.
