NFL Picks - Playoff Suicide Pool

I don't care about the pool I'm just predicting shit. Predicted Indy lose 20-17, was wrong there. But I was dead on predicting 31-24 NO win. Only 4 points off the NO score, dead on the Philly score. Me rocks!

What are your predictions for the Sunday games? Will make mine b4 KO if I rememba :D

did anyone else see Bush puking after he took that hit on the 2nd play of the game? damn. hit of the playoffs so far IMO.

also Deuce pushing that line 10 yards for the major! I actually saw a Philly linebacker sliding backwards on his stomach somehow under all that. retardedness. Deuce you are a monster. Sell Vidic buy Deuce.

Strahan ordered to pay ex-wife $15 million

ASSOCIATED PRESS

2:55 p.m. January 13, 2007

NEWARK, N.J. – New York Giants star Michael Strahan was ordered to pay his ex-wife $15.3 million – more than half his net worth – in keeping with the couple's prenuptial agreement.

Under the agreement, Jean Strahan was entitled to 50 percent of their joint marital assets and 20 percent of his yearly income from each year they were married.

“She's grateful to the court,” Jean Strahan's lawyer, Ellen Marshall, told The Associated Press on Saturday. “She looks forward to her future, raising their children and moving forward.”

A call to Michael Strahan's attorney, Robert Penza, and his agent, Tony Agnone, were not immediately returned.

The NFL star had contended he wasn't responsible for the 20 percent because his wife failed to ask for it every year. But state Superior Court Judge James Convery disagreed, ruling “the plaintiff is not credible in his claim that the defendant never asked for her separate funds.”

In addition to the $15.3 million, Convery awarded Jean Strahan hundreds of thousands of dollars in child support. The couple married in 1999.

“It pays to tell the truth, and I told the truth,” Jean Strahan said in Saturday's New York Post. “I never asked for a penny more than the prenup that Michael and his lawyers wrote and made me sign. And all I ever asked for was that to be upheld.”

feckology, bloody Ravens can't score a TD. I'd be mad if the Chargers were'nt about to kick the shit out of Brady and NE.

feck i forgot to make my prediciton for the late game. 1st quarter now, 11 minutes left and 0-0 so it is still ok I think.

34-24 San Diego!

Ridiculous shit, he probably doesn't deserve it but bye, bye Marty.

Round 3 Sluttos, RedCanuck is more than a little pissed at the Chargers being eliminated. Don't mind that I got knocked out of the pool as well

Here's the matchups for Round 3 on Sunday:

New Orleans
at Chicago Bears

New England Patriots
at Indianapolis Colts

Caftards remaining [teams previously picked]

MyBloodisRed [Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots]
RedCanadian (new Papa!) [New Orleans Saints, Philidelphia Eagles]
Mehro [Chicago Bears, New England Patriots]

So you spazzers can't pick the teams you previously chose.

PM me your picks once you've decided and I'll publish them in one giant orgasm of selections :)

judging by what they've chosen already, i make redcanadian the favorite at this stage. bears followed by afc winner i suspect.

definitely. he's been smart with his picks if a little risky.

saw a portion of the Ravens game, couldn't believe how anemic(sp?) they looked.
missed both of yesterdays games, hoping next week I'll be able to keep up with them.
freakin Pats win again too. It's gettting really old. if they make it to the superbowl most peole will be rooting for the other team.

good luck to the remaining players.

well i fecked myself into a corner!! i picked colts and pats earlier and there is no way I'm picking Da Bears until the Super Bowl game so I guess I'm out!

I say Manning gets the Pats monkey off his back and makes him 1-2 vs. Brady. While the Saints can't handle the winter winds coming off Lake Michigan, Bears win by 7 at least.

Colts vs. Bears in Super Bowl XLI with Da Bears returning to GLORY!

C'mon.... pick the Saints.... you know you want to!!!! :D

the Saints vs the Colts would be the best scenario for a superbowl, for the neutrals, or the Bears vs the Colts, imo.

having said that, I'm afraid the NE pats will get there again.

MyBloodIsRed picks the Bears! You never know, the others may get this week wrong :D

This weeks picks:

MyBloodIsRed - Bears
RedCanadian - Bears
Mehro - Colts

Good luck suckers!

Pretty well.... so far, but I'm preparing myself for the inevitable... :D
That's good :D

It's going to be tough for the Saints in Chicago on Sunday. Weather has turned really crap.

I think that the Bears defense can handle the Saints offense.

The question marks are:

How will Rex handle really cold conditions (he did play college ball at Florida you know) and pressure of getting to the super bowl?

How will the Saints handle the outdoors, cold, windy lakefront? That being said Drew Brees went to Purdue so he'll be fine. Hopefully Bush and Deuce and the rest won't adjust well to the conditions.

Bill Swerski: Alright, alright! Now, let me shift gears here for a moment. What is God's role in this? Obviously, he's rooting for Da Bears.

Pat Arnold: Otherwise, he wouldn't have put 'em in Chicago.

Carl Wollarski: That's right.

Bill Swerski: That's right. Da question is: Now, did God create Da Bears, and make them superior to all teams? Or is he simply a huge fan, and Ditka made them superior to all other teams?

Carl Wollarski: That's a tough one.

i love those skits from SNL

Weather forecast is for about -1 C with - 5 C wind chill with snow likely

I don't think that is going to be cold enough to matter. Those guys are all wearing gloves and tights and have heaters on the sidelines. The snow might matter somewhat, does either QB wear a glove on his throwing hand?
