Okey-dokey, with the regular season out of the way it's time for a playoff pool, suicide style ;)

For those that are not familiar with this type of set-up, here are the rules:

1. Every week you pick one winner from one game only (no spreads).

2. If your team wins you move on. If your team loses your done.

3. Here's the catch. You can only pick each team once. So if you pick Indy in week 1, and Seattle in week 2, and then both teams are in the Superbowl, your done.

4. Last picker with a team alive wins.

So you can plan out your strategies, here are the teams that made the playoffs in each bracket (with seedings):

AFC
1. Chargers (bye)
2. Ravens (bye)
3. Colts
4. Patriots
5. Jets
6. Chiefs

NFC
1. Bears (bye)
2. Saints (bye)
3. Eagles
4. Seahawks
5. Cowboys
6. Giants

PM me your pick so the retards can't steal it. Once you do I'll tell you my pick so you all know.

Match-ups for the wildcard games this weekend:

AFC
Saturday
Kansas City Chiefs
at Indianapolis Colts

Sunday
New York Jets
at New England Patriots

NFC
Saturday
Dallas Cowboys
at Seatle Seahawks

Sunday
New York Giants
at Philidelphia Eagles

Remember, pick one (1) game only :)

Good stuff!

Fresno joins for the playoffs, nicely done.

Once everyone has made their pick (via pm) I'll publish the list with picks.

I'm down, i'm a brit (not that that really matters) but really enjoy the NFL, and have been doing fantasy football for a couple of years now!

Ok Caftics, there are eleven (11) of us in the pool. Here's the picks as of 11:25pm EST.

I'll list the team and then the morons wot picked 'em ;)

Saturday
Kansas City Chiefs [No one]
at Indianapolis Colts [Noy yo Fdart, dangerous dave]

Dallas Cowboys [No one]
at Seatle Seahawks [No one]

Sunday
New Jersey J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets! [No one]
at New England Patriots [MyBloodIsRed, utdalltheway, RedCanuck, mehro]

If you are a 'free agent' when it comes to supporting a team Dave, I'd highly recommend becoming a San Diego Chargers fan. From what I hear, all the best people are Chargers fans ;)

Almost forgot, on account of the New Year this weeks tottie is courtesy of the Rose Bowl (yum...Song Girls  )

Don't complain, you got Vick in return

Big ups also to the Giants who kindly provided Rivers, Merriman and Kaeding in return for Eli :)

yeah well i read something about sending a PM earlier.
it's nice to send PMs once in a while.
Good job, we have 11 players this week.

New thread will be up Monday so you have all week (until Friday) to PM me your next pick. That's if the Pats win :smirk:

I've had too much beer so don't understand the rules,

Can I pick the Pats as my team for Sunday, then the next week, then the next week, then the Super Bowl?

Put the rules into simple context for those that are beer fuelled..

Anyway, both Q/Bs for the Colts and KC have been very shoddy, KC have been very untidy.

It's been a very untidy game.

In other news, pretty boy Romo just fecked up big time for the Cowboys. There goes my dreams of a Belichick-Parcells Super Bowl XLI matchup.

But seriously, who in their right mind thought that this guy was gonna take them all the way? Enjoy your Pro Bowl, I hear Hawaii's very relaxing, Tony.

There are four rounds of games in the playoffs - (1) Wild Cards, (2) Divisional Playoffs, (3) Conference Championships and (4) The Superbowl.

It takes four (4) weeks to play the games.

You have to pick a different team each week (i.e. 4 teams in total).

Each team must win for you to advance (hence the suicide aspect).

If you want in Flaggie then pick a game winner from Sunday's games (no spread). If you get your pick in before kickoff then its good.

holo molo Romo!

what the hell was that for a hold? easy field goal range of Grammatica and Romo blew the hold. the snap was good, the kickers runup was good but Romo is left being the goat.
didn't see the game prior to that but that moment was crucial.
Dallas fcuked up this ending big time.

i just want to say that i`m not going to take part on this, because my team -the Buenos Aires Wankers - didn't make it to the playoffs.

Maybe next year ...

Not going to happen, they always finish early :D

Tards in Bold make it through to next week. They MUST pick a DIFFERENT team this week.
