NFL 2025 | Signings Signings everywhere

There was me thinking he was one of the few players on offense who wasn't a choker. Proved me wrong.

I thought this would happen anyway, regardless of our brain dead rookie WR situation. Good move.

If it's true he's gone to the effort of hiring a private detective and documenting his injuries following a previous altercation, I'd say it's more likely that this is a bullshit allegation. Although it's obviously possible that he did what he's alleged to have done, but I'm now a bit more sceptical.

Their cap position must be utterly fecked with this on top of the insane contract for the sexual assaulter.
Sure. But it’s worth it. The Browns are a highly competitive franchise, after all.

How does one even U-turn from wanting a Super Bowl run to re-signing with the Browns?

Who's getting overpaid then?

Milton Williams, Cam Robinson and Dan Moore good candidates

Seahawks have re-signed Jarran Reed and Ernest Jones before free agency starts. The latter is huge, made such a big difference to our defense after we traded for him. Mood is slightly undermined by the report that we might be considering Aaron Rodgers, feck that.

Been a busy few hours. Davante Adams has signed with the Rams, Josh Allen has signed a new 6 year, $330m deal with the Bills and the Seahawks have traded DK Metcalf to the Steelers for a 2nd round pick with the Steelers giving him a 5 year, $150m deal

Big gamble by Pittsburgh, better hope DK shows his worth as it seems ridiculously steep price. Pickens will want a new deal soon and if he balls out in '25 that's $30m+ for him on the market/franchise tag.

Parsons must be salivating at Garrett's contract. Yet another Browns personnel decision resetting the positional market, feckers.

What time can we expect the signings to start rolling in

Harold Landry to the Patriots - it's a start
Yep, just that - a start. Can't really grade that Landry addition until we see who else they add along the defensive line.

For someone who gets a decent number or sacks, his pass rush win rate is worryingly low. It would suggest that he benefitted massively from what Simmons, Joseph-Day and Sweat were able to do.

If Pats can add someone like Milton Williams in addition to Landry, that would be an enormous upgrade.

Pushing hard for Milton Williams and Chris Godwin is what I've read. We were looking at Stanley and Sherwood before they resigned.

It was already very meh but even worse now after the weekend.

We got our new LT. Apparently he was shite at RT for the 49ers but moved to LT this year and played well (wasn't a starter) in his 271 snaps. He graded better than any of our tackles have in the last 2 years. A calculated risk by Veach but could be a steal if it works out.

KC also just signed RB Elijah Mitchell...who probably got injured signing the contract

Milton Williams
Harold Landry
Carlton Davis
Robert Spillane
Morgan Moses

Decent enough

Seahawks have signed Sam Darnold, $110m 3 year deal with half guaranteed. Contract isn't as bad as I feared but after his end to the season I'm not filled with much optimism.

Jets have signed Fields to a 2 year, $40m deal. Looking like the Steelers are going for Rodgers, him and Pickens together should be entertaining.

The Texans biggest weakness is their o-line and they've just got rid of Tunsil...hmmm

The Packers are paying Aaron Banks 77 million for four years. Is he any good? Seems a little steep for a guard.

what is mr unlimited’s plan

Not bad but need some weaponry
Hunter falls to us or trade down for Tet while adding a vet. Is the hope.

However we also have a glaring hole at LT.

Trade may be upcoming for one of those spots.
