NFL 2024

Every week the Chiefs look beatable, yet somehow, nobody can seem to beat them.

We've played some good football after losing Godwin & Evans. Season's basically a write off as it stands right now, but some positives can definitely come from it.

Only 12 more games until the 20-0.

Ps. We aren't going undefeated. A loss will happen courtesy of the Raiders, Broncos or Chargers.

Watched the game at Charlie's, a Chiefs bar in Philly. Was fecking lit. I got there really early to take pics before the regulars got there.

Some of the discourse in NFL media is so bad. Sirriani is getting so much shit this week with left points on the board stuff which is such lazy analysis

The most important news out of the United States of America has already dopped for today.

Is the deal really that bad? From what I’ve read, they are likely able to get rid of him quite soon, if it doesn’t work out and the money involved isn’t that outrageous.

Haven't seen anything about outs to be honest, would make it less worse if it has decent ones. But that's borderline Saquon money that they are giving to an average-to-good (at best) RB who will be 29 at the end of his contract. The Panthers are so far from contending at the moment that extending a RB should be the least of their concerns, especially when they drafted a promising one in the 2nd round of the 2024 draft.

Can't look it up now so not sure but I think the likes of Henry, Mixon, Pollard, Aaron Jones, Moss all changed teams last offseason for less annual salary (or just better deals overall imo). You can literally pick up a guy like Kareem Hunt from the streets most of the times if you're serious about contending and are in a RB needy situation. Awful waste of money imo, extending a fourth year back at 25 who's had one good season as a starter, without the pressing need to do so, with Brooks there and how bad they are.

Some weird trades. Niners look like they don’t trust the team to do much in the playoffs with the trades they made.

Probably getting ready to rebuild in two years around Purdy. CMC window will be closing this year, injuries piling up.

Regular Season Week 10 New
Terrible tackling from the Bengals on that Wallace TD. Only for Tucker to miss the extra point.

I feel that the whole pile on Todd Bowles probably impacted this game, I genuinely fail to see how it's the right call to go for 2.

Cincy could have won the Toss though. Burrow took 1 minute to score a TD at the end
Still have to go the whole way down the field though. Maybe you’d make a different call in the playoffs, but you have to back your star QB to score in a one off play like that.

I still think they can make the playoffs.

I heard earlier this week that 2 point conversion is down from usual average of about 50% to about 32% this season. You can have anyone at QB but it's still a single play where things can go wrong. The chiefs went and got a TD in overtime but it's not as common as people think, most of the other OT games this season have seen 2 possession. It should also matter that there were 40 seconds & 2 timeouts left for the Ravens and I think if the Bengals get 2 that is still not a win. If anything if the game is tied then the Ravens are less likely to be aggressive when they get the ball
