NFL 2023

I figured any SB chance was probably ended after losing Diggs, but today's performance just reiterates everything negative about the organization - an owner that meddles way too much, a head coach that is not gonna win anything, and a quarterback that isn't that dude.

Nothing will change until Jerry has passed away and his sons take control. Hopefully, they won't be camera seeking egomaniacs.

Back to the Arizona/Dallas game.. this result is why it's comical when college football fanatic thinks his fav school could beat an NFL team. Arizona was arguably the worst team after two weeks, or certainly in that mix, and yet beats a top five team. Top College U would be throttled by 60+ against an NFL side.

Dalton has more passing yards today than Young had in the first two games combined, and he might match the passing TDs if they snag a late passing score here.
He's probably not far off the pass attempts Young had in the first two games!

And that Cowboys Cardinals game is why the NFL is the most exciting sports league around. Any given Sunday.

Also, this is the best and most exciting Dolphins team I've seen in my lifetime. I was speachless watching the game today. Incredible stuff. I've suffered through shite coaches like Cam Cameron, Joe fecking Philbin, Adam Gase etc so I'm very thankful to have Mikey McD and I love everything he has done for the Dolphins. Tua is a legitimate MVP candidate.

Yep. It might be close for a couple of possessions, but from the second quarter on, it wouldn’t even be a contest.

Another week, another terrible call made on a run of the mill QB sack

This day and age you can't afford to lean in with your helmet and touch the QBs helmet, however innocuous it might seem. I don't think it's the wrong call given a lot of the other roughing calls we see.

Another new rule learnt today! Leverage fouls.

I really don't understand the Raiders. I really don't. They are 8 points down 10 yards from the end zone and are kicking a FG on 4th and 4 with 2 and a half minutes left.

That was a chickenshit call on fourth down in the redzone. If you're gonna play the odds on a defensive stop, then go for it and pin them deep inside their own 10. They deserve to lose this game solely for that weakass non-decision.

1. Politely… how are you supposed to knock him down? Blow on him?

2. The rules official watching the game straight up said that was a bad call.

3. A lot of the roughing calls we’ve seen have been awful roughing calls.

1. Don't make contact with his helmet with your helmet. I assume the roughing the passer rules were made to stop these.

2. Every NFL rules official is shit.

3. Yea, they mostly involve a QB being tackled cleanly. Not a QB being tackled whilst also getting a helmet to helmet contact.

Does anyone know a good place to catch highlights? Decent length, thinking 8-10 mins so covers the key plays but a bit more.
NFL YouTube channel? Usually around 12 minutes long.

Didn't Parsons talk big during the week about targeting Dobbs? The Cowboys can't stop getting in their own way and Jerry is indeed the root of the problem.

That Ravens game non call reminded me of how the refs swallow their whistles at the end of tight games and yet they called that holding on the Eagles at the biggest moment in the superbowl

What is this alternate reality script where Mahomes is being asked about online Taylor Swift fans post game

There wasn’t forcible helmet to helmet contact in that play…

So, what’s the verdict on Jordan Love?

So, what’s the verdict on Jordan Love?

He played okay through the first 3 quarters, moved the ball down the field pretty well but the team kept coming up short in the red zone. Saints were up 17-0 after the 3 quarters. Caught fire in the 4th, led his team to 2 TD's, though admittedly one of them was on back of back to back DPIs that took the Packers from like their own 40 all the way to the Saint's 5. And then the Saints missed the go ahead FG with like 1 min remaining. Love looked really good, not gonna lie.

It went under appreciated but on the day when Josh Mcdaniels did this madness the Packers went for 2 after scoring down 14 and ended up winning on the next TD. Great stuff
