NFL 2023

Ugh. I feel responsible for this. After the first near sack, the thought of him possibly getting injured crossed my mind and then it happened two plays later.
I doubt that your powers are that developed at this stage in your superhero journey, but you never know......

So I guess packers won't get that first round pick next year :nervous:

Really sucks for Rodgers. Hope he's not done

Josh Allen has regressed immensely without Brian Daboll

Mike McDaniel couldn't have written a better script before Week 1 even if he tried. Pats lose, Bills lose, and Jets lose Rodgers while the Fins looked like the most explosive offense in the league (against the Chargers D, granted, but still).

Way to make me believe Josh - lost by 0.9 points after assuming I was getting destroyed. Couldn't suck just that tiny bit harder could you?

You lost to a Kelce-less opponent who also had Kamara suspended while you didn't believe in Breece Hall in favor of Christian Kirk.

Gotta get back to the drawing board, grind the tape and make sure you are ready for Week 2!

Still can’t believe what happened to the Jets on the first drive of the season. Just insane
It’s the Jets. Something like this was bound to happen.
Just pissed we won’t get that pick now.

AFC West
Raiders 1-0
Chiefs 0-1
Chargers 0-1
Broncos 0-1

NFC South
Falcons 1-0
Saints 1-0
Buccaneers 1-0
Panthers 0-1

You're a rich man if you had those outcomes on a sizeable bet.

That would be true for any bet including eight games. Which is why betting is stupid nonsense for people who think they are too smart to get addicted.

I was just trying to point out that the NFL is so very unpredictable.

It's not that hard to beat the NFL markets by the way, especially on season-long props which is by far the softest NFL betting niche. The guys at Establish The Run have an very good track record for example:
Levitan’s Published Player Prop History
2019 NFL In-Season Record:
50-36, +$963
2020 NFL Season-Long Record: 7-2, +$454
2020 NFL In-Season Record: 55-34, +$1,907
2020-21 NBA In-Season Record: 111-82, +$1,817
2021 NFL In-Season Record: 216-118, +$8,572
2021 NFL Season-Long Record: 27-6, +$2,028
2021-22 NBA In-Season Record: 751-495, +$20,348
2022 NFL In-Season Record: 308-222, +$5,850
2022 NFL Season-Long Record: 22-5, +$1,633

The Garrett Wilson TD might be a top-5 TD grab of the season already, he basically just snatched an INT away from the defender

Also just the third punt return TD in OT history, wouldn't have expected that it's so rare.

At least the Jets media team will have an easy job putting together a video of Aaron Rodgers highlights for the year.

Also I loved how the first person to get to Gibson after the punt return TD in OT was Saleh who was going fecking bonkers. Have it.

Didn't notice that at first.

I now have goosebumps after rewatching the play.

As a Pats fan, I inherently dislike the Jets but.. man that is brutal.

Around The NFL is a great podcast and the main presenter is a Jets fan. He does a great job summarising the fanbases reaction and it's hardnot to feel sorry for them.

So apparently Tom Brady can't sign for the Jets because of his minority ownership with the Raiders.

Not to say it wasn't far-fetched, but... the possibility was certainly there :D

American Football is a war of attrition, nothing new.

Just because the hype machine in the biggest market got snapped doesn't stop the machine. The overreaction and 24/7 hyperbole is just starting.
