NFL 2023

I don't think the Eagles themselves need any bulletin board material after all the whining and unsportsmanlike behavior the Niners players showed after their playoff exit last season.

Niners seem to be a better team this season but prone to an off-day. Eagles have been slightly worse but have the experience, the better QB, and the grit and determination to win close games. Hoping for a very good game.

Niners played almost the entire game without a QB and for the first time in NFL history had FOUR QBs injured during a season. Yea, they were bitter and yes they will take it out on the Eagles this week. The only ones talking this week have been the Eagles players, Williams and Deebo have already been asked and played down the importance of this game.

The Eagles were bullied the last 2 weeks but lucked out wins in the end. I actually don’t think the game will be close, Niners have been dominant the last 3 weeks and players like Kittle, Bosa and Warner thrive in hostile territory. Should open the door for a race for the number 1 seed, as I could see the eagles losing next week at Dallas.

I know. Like I said: take it on the chin and move on. It's perfectly human how some of them reacted but also poor sportsmanship imo, that's all.

Eagles also weren't bullied the last two weeks nor did they "luck out". They were poor in the first half vs the Bills but perfectly made amendments in the second half, went right back at them, came through in the clutch in regulation and executed better than the Bills in OT. Made their own luck when they forced a Kelce fumble in the redzone the week before as well. And yes MVS dropped a pass but he's not exactly the greatest WR on earth so... The Chiefs were very poor offensively, no idea how anyone could argue the Eagles were bullied that game.

To think that the game "won't be close" is madness to me but we'll see. It's been nearly two years since a team walked into the Linc and blew them out.

*Far from an Eagles fan by the way if this disclaimer is needed. But you Niners fan sure still sound bitter about that NFC ship game

Good day of sports. Liverpool and the Cowboys

Didn’t the same woman accuse him before and then admit to lying about it?

Don’t wanna draw any conclusions either way so I’ll just say I hope it’s not true, I’ve always thought he’s one of the good ones.

According to the arrest-warrant affidavit obtained by The News, Miller and the woman have been in a romantic relationship for seven years. She told officers she was six weeks pregnant.

Police allege in the court document that the argument, which started over upcoming travel plans, began about 10:40 a.m. in the main bedroom of their apartment. The woman then went into their home office and slammed the door, which the affidavit says made Miller “visibly angry.”

Miller then walked into the office and yelled at the woman to “get out,” the affidavit says. The woman tried to comply, but wanted time to retrieve some of her belongings, such as her laptop and phones.

As she was grabbing them, the affidavit says Miller shoved and pushed her. The woman repeatedly yelled “Stop, I’m pregnant.”

Miller continued to push the woman as he stepped on her feet, which caused her to fall back into a chair, the affidavit says. He then put a hand on her neck and applied pressure for 3 to 5 seconds, according to the affidavit, which police say caused pain but not difficulty breathing. As she continued to try to gather her belongings, Miller grabbed her phone, threw her laptop on the floor and stomped on it, the affidavit says.

As she tried to pick up her laptop, Miller yanked her hair, pulling a chunk of it out and causing her to collapse, the affidavit says. She got up and began to record Miller on her phone, which she put in her pocket, police wrote in the affidavit.

The affidavit says Miller once again grabbed the woman again, pushed her onto a couch, wrapped both hands around her neck and applied pressure.

The woman told Miller she was calling police, which prompted him to leave the apartment, the affidavit says.

Police responded to the apartment condominium and saw the woman had “minor abrasions” on her left hand, as well as bruising on her abdomen, left bicep and neck that was “consistent with applied pressure,” the affidavit says.

The woman showed police a recording where Miller could be heard in the background yelling and telling her to get out, according to the affidavit. In her 911 call, she also identified herself and Miller, the affidavit says.

Yikes.

Unsportsmanlike behaviour? What are the examples of that? I don’t remember much/any, other than some bemoaning their luck at losing all QB options, which wasn’t exactly unsportsmanlike

Calling a fellow pro "trash" is quite unsportsmanlike tbh. Deebo was asked about it this week and he doubled down on it. Bradberry was asked about it this week and he kept avoiding the question. Seemed odd to go after JB, nicest guy on the team.

In the game itself, Trent Williams body slammed K'Von Wallace, and then took a swing at Nakobe Dean, which started a brawl, and Williams was ejected afterwards. Niners cleared the bench and sent the whole team on. Eagles coaches held back everyone on the sidelines except Reddick.

Robin's right, the Eagles don't need any more bulletin board material. Williams and Deebo will have been on it all week. Niners probably got their fair share too from Reddick talking about the whining this week. I doubt any of that really makes a difference.

I think if Eagles take the lead, they win. Purdy's numbers when playing from behind are poor (or so I read on Twitter). Eagles secondary is so weak though. The defensive approach seems to be letting teams march down the field, and trying to stop them in the red zone, with mixed success. They just can't get stops on 3rd and long, ever. I expect a shootout.

Friend of mine had him over 60 yds receiving for two dimes. Did it in one play.
Nice. He's pretty much been the lone bright spot in the first quarter, been incredibly sloppy yet again otherwise.

Geno looking back to his best today. The contrast with the last couple of games is incredible.

Oh look, more flags.
