I remember saying I wouldn't have minded Hurts during the draft but I never expected him to be as good as he is is showing now.
It helps that the entire philosophy of that organization and offense decided to go with his strengths versus trying to shoehorn him into something he simply would not succeed in. Similar to Lamar Jackson in Philly though he's grown as a passer over the years. The one negative I see of Hurts is he seems to have a windup when throwing passes and that's something pass rushers may pick up on and start swatting at his arm/the ball.
