If you mean Tennessee, yeah there is always that talk when stadium issues come up.

Not Denver; we’re protected by our giant geographical coverage extent.

Ahhh got ya, I was gonna say I’d be amazed if there was any suggestion of that with Denver.

We need to see the structure of that thing

Peyton still has his primary residence there in Cherry Hills, last I heard. Would look good to have him involved as one of the faces of the franchise…better than some old Walton that people despise for destroying small town stores for sure.

Yea he’s practically adopted Denver as his home and it would be great to have him involved.

He’s worth it.

Oh yeah no doubt! Crazy that one of the best NFL players ever will only earn so much as your above average NBA starter these days actually.

Jesus is that right? I mean I guess they play way more games but I didn’t realise the difference in money in the two games was like that!

Tobias Harris signed a 5-year, $180m deal in 2019 after having been on 4 teams in 8 years, never making an all-NBA team, and never even having been selected to an All-Star game. For a Denver example, Jamal Murray signed a 5-year, $158m max contract extension in 2019 after not really doing anything impressive in his first 3 years in the league.

If you look at it from that perspective, Donald is earning peanuts for what he brings to the table for his team. But like @MrMarcello mentioned, hard to compare across different sports of course.

Baseball contracts are the ones that blow my mind, considering even Americans are losing interest in their pastime.

I wonder if the NFL is looking to do something like the NBA supermax contract considering what is happening regarding QBs and WRs.

How much of NBA contracts is guaranteed?

Bloody hell

The hell is that?
It is a joke from The League show about the face you make when, uh…how do I put this in a family friendly environ… The face you make right before what he did to violate those women.

Idea being it’s how you’d twist your face right after smelling vinegar.

“I don’t know,” Watson said. “Like I told you at the beginning of this depo, I’m still trying to figure out why we in the situation we are in right now, why I’m talking to you guys, why you guys are interviewing me. I don’t know. Do not know.”
Fecking scumbag. That's a disturbing read.

It’s official as expected at $4.65B (well I don’t know if the number north of 4.5B was but the predicted winner was correct):
