A few months ago there was a game where the defending team needed the ball back to get back in the team while the attacking team were trying to to run to the clock down. Player runs to the 1 yard line and tries to sit down just like the Chiefs did on that play but the defence effectively pushes him over to the line to purposely concede the TD just so they had enough time left on the clock to score themselves :lol:

Refs decided the game though with a call where probably no one would've batted an eyelid if they let it go like they have all game. That kinda sucks for a game like this.

One of the best HCs, by far the best QB, that's a formula for success.

Both would've been deserved champs - Mahomes on 2 now, the quest is on!

It was always going to come down to Chiefs Offence vs the Eagles Defence and the D came up well short. Shame it ended that way but it was a great SB anyways.

Officials seem to let stuff go all game before suddenly starting to throw flags for it near the end in the NFL more than any other sport I watch.

Classic game though. Well worth the day off off tomorrow/today.
 
The worst thing is that mahomes threw the ball away . Eagles would have had a timeout plus 1 minute 40 with a 3 point deficit . Absolute joke
 
What a shitty call to effectively end the game on. NFL officiating is a joke. We can only thank the lord it was Philadelphia on the bad end.

Eagles would have had more time on offense not that I care. Because feck em that's why.

I saw that guy grab the Chiefs WR twice so can't really argue the call but maybe how it's been rarely called most of the game. But it makes up for a blatant leading with the crown a few plays before that should have given the Chiefs an extra 15 yards, probably still results in KC in the red zone but likely closer to a touchdown which changes how Reid plays that series leading up to the holding call.
 
Eagles were in cruise control 1st half but what a turnaround by Mahomes & co in the 2nd to win it.
