Sometimes I wonder is it easier not having a team in the playoffs. I am too emotionally invested to “enjoy” anything this weekend before a win (or during if it’s a blowout which I don’t expect). Of course the peak of any playoffs was following the Warriors in the Durant era. Not massively worried you wouldn’t win a series but still there to take part and win throughout.

On the bright side of things, it is definitely less worse than that feeling of dread when your biggest rival is playing in a final!

Weather in Kansas City today is set to be awful. Snow, rain and wind.

I’m sure I’ve asked this before but what is your connection with Minnesota?

None. For some reason the Vikings, Giants and Packers were generally the teams that I could see on satellite TV and it was around the time of Moss. As for the Wolves, I started to follow the NBA for Tony Parker but took pity for the Wolves and KG.

Not the odds you’d hope to see at this stage of the season, but I’m sure the usual chaos will provide us some great games: Moneyline bets::

Jax +375 KC -500 (95% on KC)
NYG +300 Philly -375 (84%)
Cincy(i) +200 Buf -250 (74% on Buf)
Dal +165 San Fran -200 (78%)

Dallas at SF looks like it might be the most interesting, but for betting maybe Cincy at +6 is the one; even with their OL issues maybe with Von long gone the Bengals can pull something off if they get some gifts from Josh Allen.

Anyone on here in shooters bar Manchester where they are shooting the build up? Never heard of it..apparently it's in the print works. I'm assuming it's a new place because I don't remember it when I lived there until 2020.

Don’t often venture into the Printworks even though it’s only around the corner from me. What they shooting there?

The sky pundits are covering the game there instead of the normal studio. Will be there all night probably. Place is full of Chiefs and Jag fans.

Knowing KO and the type of person/coach Flores is, that's a great hire if it were to happen. Very strong fit.

It probably won't happen because he has HC interviews but yeah I like the profile and thinks that it's a pretty good fit. And I like the idea that KOC is willing to go in that direction.

Flores shouldn't take a HC position just to take one, even if that goes against some understanding that you have to take the HC opportunity regardless because they are so scarce.

If the right situation as HC occurs, Flores should take it as we know how scarce the role is and he overachieved in Miami and was wrongly fired, all things considered.

As far as KO going in that direction...he's a smart guy and isn't afraid to step outside common paths of thought.

Cheers all

fecking lovely stuff so far
The first series is always scripted, 15 plays or so. Imagine being Reid & sitting down to devise the first series. He fecking comes up with an option play for the first one, a play that looked just like what my high school team ran with regularity. Insane.

We are statistically the shittest team at punt returns in the NFL..
