What a weird game. Perhaps it's because I've had a load of beers but I didn't even think it was good spectacle as a neutral.
It was interesting, although a bit weird, since one team was so awful and then the other was awful.

The cajones on Pederson to feck around like that on 3rd & 1 before the long ETN run for the fourth-down conversion at the end….

even though i think Staley will get the sack, there would be absolutely no surprise to see Schefter report "the organisation was happy with this season, Staley will get another chance"

Wow weird one. I like both teams so pleased for the Jags but that was an odd one.

Chargers so disappointing.

Was not expecting that after the 4th INT… Chargers

Just watched back the Chargers Jax game, what a capitulation.

That 40 yard miss Cameron Dicker, which was only he's second miss all season, would have put them out of reach.

But well done to the Jax for that second half rally.

Can't wait for today's games.

Chargers coach gonna get fired after that collapse. No way should a team lose after forcing five turnovers and up 27-0 at halftime. Seem to recall they also fecked up last year with a playoff spot on the line in the last regular season game. I can see them going full-court press for Sean Payton.

Payton has set up shop somewhere in Socal & has made it known that the Chargers job would be his first choice. Staley is toast.

Ah cheers, thanks for the response.
What a move its been for the 49ers. Such a slick player he is.

So many people said it was a crappy trade too. A lot of hot takes that the niners had given up too much draft capital. CMC with Shanahan is a cheat code. No way they could have drafted his like with what they had Available in picks.

Yeah I think they lost the finale did they not against the Raiders last year?

What makes this worse is that the Chargers didn't even have any turnovers whilst throwing away their 27-0 lead.

Exactly, Herbert played well.Joey Bosa having a brainfart and then some criminally poor coaching Is what ruined them.

I felt the biggest play was when Herbert's side-arm pass hit the DL-man's helmet which was gonna be a wide-open TD pass to Allen (I think it was). They settled for a FG on that drive but could have been up by two touchdowns.

In my entire time as a Dolphins fan I have never seen us win a playoff game. Sadly that won't change today.

Real shame, we finally get to the playoffs and by then our QB, backup QB, LT and 3 of our 4 top corners are all hurt or on IR. Brutal

It was 27-7. A 3 possession game where the other team was playing as bad as possible.

A tremendous and very possible comeback happened, but people seem to think it was a miracle....it wasn't. This has repeatedly happened with the Chargers for decades, so it is within their nature.

If Payton decides to go back, he'll have his selection and may also ask for player personnel power, which could sway his choice.

That was the game where they called timeout when it looked like the raiders were going to kneel it out for a draw to see them both go through. So raiders decided to kick a field goal instead, which eliminated chargers and let steelers in

I don’t think the Jags were executing that badly in the first half. They just couldn’t gain traction because of the picks, some of which weren’t Lawrence’s fault (2 were amazing plays by Samuel and one was tipped).

Jags come back was unbelievable but don’t underestimate what Brock Purdy is doing with the Niners. Last pick of the draft throwing for 332 yards, 3 TD passes and 1 rushing TD in his first playoff start. I get he’s in a hugely talented team with one of the best offensive minds in football but neither Jimmy G or Trey Lance were making this type of impact. The Niners are the most balanced and talented team in football. There is no other team that could maintain this level playing with their third string QB.

Such a bonehead decision by Staley. Raiders were obviously playing for the draw
