Congratulations to the 3-13-1 Texans!!

Need Matt Patricia gone from the offense and Cam Achord gone from Special Teams for next season. Disgusting throughout the season.

Not a big deal if they lose the first pick since there are two quality QBs in the mix. If they don’t get Young they will get Stroud.
I’m sure that’s what the Jets thought when they threw away Lawrence on the final game of the season and proceeded to draft Wilson (over Fields).

It’s not as bad as the Jets back then but just so completely unnecessary complicating things for yourself.

Works out nicely for the Bears and Texans. The Bears already have Fields so won’t need a QB, which means they will have their choice of Will Anderson or Jalen Carter. The Texans, who do need a QB, will have their choice of Stroud or Young. The Seahawks and Cardinals will also end up with one of the four players each. I suspect Seattle will go for a QB and Cardinals for a D-lineman to replace Watt.

Willing to bet quite some money that Stroud or Young will go at #1, not to the Bears. They're good enough to warrant a #1 pick and the Bears would be quite mad to draft either Anderson or Carter at #1 themselves when they can possibly even get them somewhere between 3-7 and getting a lot more by trading the number one overall.

Really rooting for the Rams in the late window now, I want a Packers v Lions game for the #7 seed (and a Lions win of course).

Hopefully Mcvay goes for it in his potentially last game for the Rams. Would love to see the Lions make it.

High draft picks have been hit or miss historically. The NFL thought Mayfield and Darnold were better than Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson as recently as 2018. As for Young or Stroud, nobody knows whether they will be good or not, so whoever had the #1 pick wouldn’t be missing out this year.

That’s a possibility. It depends on how highly the Bears value Anderson or Carter. They could trade down a pick with some desperate team willing to lose all their top picks for several years.

The Texans could have made their own assessment on both Young and Stroud and would've been able to choose between them on their own accord without any bother. Now they are at the mercy of others and might end up with their second choice, or have to trade up to #1 themselves to get their preferred choice.

Irrespective of whether Young or Stroud will turn out to be good, they need a QB, they will draft a QB, and they made it unnecessarily difficult for themselves with a completely pointless win today. I just think it's laughable and a sign of a franchise in complete disarray. But indeed not the end of the world like you pointed out either, agree on that.

You still want the choice. The FO might have strong feelings on one or the other, especially after Stroud’s performance against the closest thing to an NFL defense on the biggest stage.

Colts will pick first, bears get their 4th pick and maybe colts' second round next year.

Arizona beating SF already and the Cowboys playing down to their opponents per usual.

Nah. I think you play games to win them, which is what they did. The perception that a team deliberately played to lose would create a toxic stench around the culture of the franchise that wouldn’t go away for years. They will still get a quality QB at #2.

I was hoping Cowboys would rest their players this week and get ready for Brady.

Not a game you want injuries this one

Young’s just too slight of frame for me. Don’t see how he would hold up in the NFL.

That would be my concern as well. Needs to bulk up a bit to get to something resembling an early career Russell Wilson frame, which I’m sure he will.

True but I guess a shot at the NFC East and possibly the number 1 team in the NFC forced their hand. Either way Prescott has been starting these last few games off in terrible fashion. So being the cheery Boys fan that I am I foresee injuries, a loss, and an early exit next week against Brady who they can’t beat.

Never seemed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer. Kicked off Browns’ radio team for this…

Dak now has an interception in 7 straight games. Pick 6 in 2 off his last 3 games. 15 interceptions for the season only played 12 games

The doggo
Looks like the dog I spotted outside a shop last week. Don't know what the breed is but its one magnificent doggo.

Bernese mountain dog, love them. We have an Aussie in the same colours.

Man I hope the Broncos bring in a HC next season that can FINALLY unlock Jeudy's potential.

I'll still maintain he was a better prospect than Lamb coming out of college and can be as good as him in the NFL.

There was talk of him potentially being traded in the run up to the deadline and since that past something seems to have clicked with him and he’s been much better.

Hopefully next season can be his true breakout.
