Yea the glory supporter accusation is a lazy narrative, football has just become a bit of a shitshow.

Also I’m a Broncos fan, after the last 6 years I don’t think anyone could call me a glory supporter

"Woe is me, it's been 6 years since the last Super Bowl title."

Errr, Raiders fan. We only made the playoffs for the second time in forever last year, and even then we were one and done

6 years since the last winning record!

Yea 2015 was awesome and we had a great few years during the Manning era, but before and especially after were no bueno.

What is wrong with Cleveland?

What are your thoughts on our lack of action in FA so far? Part of me is glad we aren't splashing money about after some of the busts in recent years (Littleton, Joyner, Tyrell Williams) etc, but watching the Chargers especially trade for one of my all-time favourite Raiders and then getting the best CB on the market at good value is a little frustrating to say the least.

We still have some glaring holes at WR, on the O-Line and at corner and can't address all of these in the draft, so I'm hoping we at least make some moves soon...

Chiefs signed former Texans safety Justin Reid yesterday. Looks set to replace Matthieu who's time is done here.

I just hope we can get an upgrade on Edwards-Helaire this summer as he's put in so many duff performances these last 2 seasons. Statistically he's been about average for a starting RB but he's barely made any big plays and doesn't have the strength to not hit the deck immediately after contact.

Gregory pulled out of the Dallas contract after discovering* clauses that would permit Dallas to void all guaranteed monies and remaining dollars if the player was suspended for this or that. Can't blame the player nor the organization in my view. Buyer beware in Denver, he's getting his money without worry if he screws up.

*probably his agent as I doubt Gregory read, well except the parts with $ print.

Baltimore is shite too

Baltimore has a bad reputation when it comes to the average person experience, iirc it's one of the big cities with the highest crime rate in the US? But is that applicable to wealthy people?

On a side note, I have read and heard bad things about almost all of the cities that have an NFL or NBA team.

I'm with you in that I expected us to go out and be in the mix, for Jackson at the very least. I still hold out hope at WR with Allen Robinson, but OL is a shit show. My guess is that they're going the Patriot Way of not really building through free agency, but through the draft and hope that we can pick up the pieces we need there. One of those Georgia DT's would be ideal at the very least

All of them. Found Charlotte to be the most vibrant & appealing.

That's interesting. Have you been to Nashville, on paper I find it appealing but it's rarely mentioned.

PS: I have only been to Miami and Washington as a teenager.

I’d categorize Nashville in the same boat as Charlotte, maybe a notch below because I can’t stand neck music, but better than the other three. No state income tax in TN either.

Yeah I'd love Jordan Davis at #22 overall. Despite the fact they've signed two DT's though, I've fully prepared myself for the Chargers nabbing him ahead of us and angering me for a third time.

This is a slightly silly debate, but it’s more fun than talking about war I guess. If we’re ranking NFL cities, with appeal of the greatness of the franchise factored in via a complex proprietary method, I’d have it:

S: NY, LA, Dallas
A: Miami, Vegas, Denver, San Fran
B: Nola, Seattle, Phoenix, Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh
C: Charlotte, Nashville, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, KC, Philly, Houston, Atlanta
D: Cleveland, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, Baltimore, DC, Indy,
F: Cincy, Buffalo, Detroit

Chandler Jones to the Raiders. Can’t get enough of facing Wilson twice a year.

JD McKissic changed his mind on Buffalo and is going back to the Commies. May or may not be significant for fantasy.

Antonio Gibson RB1 szn March 15, 2022 - March 16, 2022

No seriously, I think they would've added RB depth through the draf tand they still have Patterson as well. Could even have used Curtis Samuel in the JD McKissic role had he signed with Buffalo. I don't think they want Gibson to be a workhorse RB.

It's just the time of the year where everyone overreacts to every "relevant" fantasy signing because there's not much else to do.

Panthers sign D'Onta Foreman? OMG THEY ARE TRADING CMC
Lions adding DJ Chark? THIS WILL HELP ARSB'S VALUE AS A WR2

Stop it already.

To be fair, I’m pretty sure I heard about CMC moving well before they signed Foreman. Coincidentally enough, Buffalo being a possible destination.

The Sun God stuff was just silly though. As if Detroit was going to just leave him on his own in the WR corps…

Never knew that one  Awesome nickname if that sticks.

Baltimore ain’t bad. Been there several times and while all my time was spent in Inner Harbor and Fells Point, really enjoyed it.

Rather be in Cincy over Cleveland as well.

Williams for the secondary and now this. Defense could be scary if they get everyone healthy.

I mean anywhere where you’re THAT wealthy is probably fine. DC and Philly are way better and are both pretty close.

Baltimore isn’t up to much. I would probably send someone to Fells if I was telling them to go anywhere to be fair, little Italy is cute, canton is ok but quiet. We used to go to Fed Hill a bit and been to Power Plant a few times. Camden Yards is a cool concept but doesn’t do it for me. I’m sure people like it, we are discussing preferences after all, but those people also often like crabs, country music, and light beers a lot more than I do too!

Inner Harbor…not for me. Always found it a bit sterile. Going to a comedy show in a few weeks though and going out after so I’ll see if I enjoy the area anymore!

I would put Philly over Pittsburg as a city, but if we’re factoring in franchise historical greatness, I see why one wouldn’t

Russ presser getting me pumped.

Hackett’s presser got me excited already but this is taking it to another level. 2022 is gonna be fun.

Long deal wow.

That just popped up on my YouTube of all places. That deal is mental right?

Depends on the details I guess. Guaranteed money, voidable years, … but sure seems long for a DE turning 33 next week.
