NFL 2022

This Wilson saga is incredible, he has always been a bit weird but it looks like the Seahawks and his former teammates protected his image.

They're thinking of that #1 spot to draft Bryce Young and pair them up again, aren't they?

I think it's foolish to take Young first overall but I'm no NFL scout obviously. I just see his scrawny frame as unsuitable to the NFL for the QB position nor do I see him as some franchise guy. Maybe a team could pack 10-20lbs of mass on him but he's going to get broken at 190lbs. Thinking he's gonna need elite pass protection and playmakers on his side of the ball to succeed (all do in fairness but some more than others).

Also note the last QB drafted in the first round that weighed under 200lbs was Jim McMahon in 1982. Different era of course.

Cowboys should sign OBJ if he's ready to go or can be in the next few weeks. Also convinced Jerry should go all in right now, make another move or two especially with Lewis done for. This may be his last best chance to get to the superb owl. He's the one that has fecked up so many other chances when the chance was there for the taking. The NFC is as wide open as has been since Jerry entered the league.

He would be quite an outlier. People talk about Kyler being tiny but he’s just short not skinny. Before Lamar, who gets comparisons since they’re good runners, packed on some gains Kyler was just slightly lighter than him while being a few inches shorter.

Young is a winner without a doubt, but his size raises questions.

Not in the position I was hoping for but if he stays injury free (which he hasn't so far it seems) it could be a good one for the future. If he meets the trade conditions for the 3rd round pick then I guess he would have been good enough to merit giving that up. A bit of a no lose deal.

Does he punt return? I do not want to see Skyy Moore attempt another one.

In an ideal situation he could’ve thrived under Daboll. But between Wan’Dale possibly usurping him and maybe a change of scenery being needed with NYC being a distraction for a guy with a hip-hop career I’m thinking this might work.

Don’t know if I should be optimistic about something positive for the Chiefs but sometimes you have to put your fantasy team first.

Apparently the Toney trade is a 3rd and a 6th in the 2023 draft....and the 3rd pick is not conditional. Not quite as good of a deal from what was initially reported. Hope it works out.

You got a first round talent with phenomenal advanced metrics stats for a 3th and a 6th, I think it's an absolutely amazing trade for the Chiefs. He'll be your best WR in no time and apparently is already fit again as well (or at least that's what he claims on Twitter himself).

Mark Andrews for Darren waller and Ken walker?

Since my first trade wasn't a crowd pleaser I'll ask this time around ha

That's the hope. It's a bit unclear if he's actually been injured this season or if it's his playing up that has caused his lack of game time. Apparently the thought process behind the move was that this guy is hugely talented and the culture of the locker room here could put him back on track. Giants fans have said he spends more time arguing with them on twitter than preparing for games.

For some fecking reason, we are actually favored by two tonight.

Maybe it’s the ‘Julio Jones is finally playing’ bounce.

Just heard on the Bucs pregame that Hackett could be gone if they lose in London this weekend. Is this actually the case?

Twitter zing by Twitch on Orlovsky. Spoilered due to image size.

Lamar never looks concerned when things aren't going so well.

There was a little scuttlebutt around that, but more about Chubb being traded if all hope was lost and a good offer came in.

I have drastically slashed my own odds (all the big books use them) on Hackett lasting the year, and were that to take place our bye the following week would be the most convenient time for it.

Bucs offense looked great in the first quarter.

Brady is getting so angry with his players every single game.

Great win for the Ravens, especially impressed with their offensive gameplan having to work with players like Duvernay, Robinson, Likely and Proche in order to make things happen (lots of players for the Buccaneers secondary were out, but still).

Not sure what to think of TB and where they go from here. Could still easily make the playoffs of course but they don't feel like a true contender (yet). And now Barrett is out for the season as well.

Seeing 45 year old Brady trying to scramble for the 1st down at the speed of a tortoise never gets old (a bit like him..)

Ravens v 49ers was my SB pick and I'm sticking with it, though both teams have given me cause to waver this season. I think they'll both be hot at the right time.

Just seen the news about Shaq Barrett’s achilles injury, that sucks, I’ll always love Shaq for his time in Denver. Even if he did help Brady to another ring.

Considering that he already had a lot of divorced guy in his forties energy, it will be interesting to see what he will be like actually divorced in his forties.
This basically ensures he plays at least one more season.

That is just so weird when he could have done about anything else in the peace of retirement to keep that marriage intact. Even weirder is how he decided to come out of retirement shortly after watching Ronaldo score 3 against Spurs back in March. Those fools at Marca and AS wrote total jokes of articles a few weeks ago, going as far as to blame Ronnie for leading up to the Tom/Gisele split.:wenger::nono:

He’s gonna be a dog if he continues to lose orrrrr he’s going to have no more distractions with the divorce decision and prove everyone wrong and start playing great.
He’s gonna be a dog imo.

I was really looking forward to seeing my first NFL game live but I've been twatted by covid. I put my Broncos Jags tickets on the ticket exchange and they sold an hour before the deadline yesterday.

I cannot comprehend why he would come back for another season if his was the consequence of doing so. It makes no sense.
He did have arguably his second best season last year, he probably felt that he had too much left in the tank to retire.

These two events might be connected in a different way. He wanted to get rid of her, so now he might feel like winning in both games.

Well presumably it must be this, but still my point stands. If you know coming back will end your marriage, you don’t come back (unless the above is true) when you’ve literally won it all and are largely considered the GOAT. Different if we are talking though about someone who has never won it or only won it once or something. But then again, it’s probably this very reason why he’s actually been so great.

Either we see Brady pop off, or, more likely, Bucs continue to be average and he returns next year and they go wild. Brady’s part in the Bucs poor performances seem to come from a lack of focus rather than a genuine deterioration in ability I feel.
