Because it's Brady who lives rent free in some heads. That said, it was a bogus call but the game commentators came back after the commercial break with a handful of prior hits on Brady that could have/should have been called, including one that was a clear below the knee, straight-on hit that I thought had been ruled illegal in the past decade-plus.
It's a bit like United getting a penalty when they do hey one is front page news and mass hysteria yet other teams who get more are just ignored
