Jerry Jones covering his shitty McDonald’s breakfast thing in salt is absolutely gross.

Also let the coaches coach the team you prick.

I had to google the first one. McDonald's is full of salt already, what is wrong with him?

What I liked:
- Dak's competitiveness;
- Zeke learning to wrap gifts from a YT tutorial;
- CeeDee friggin' Lamb;
- Micah Parsons counting sitting hours.

What I disliked:
- Jerry Jones
- Mike McCarthy looking and talking like a football dinosaur
- Too much Micah Parsons coverage / not enough underdog stories yet.

Anyone watched the second episode of Hard Knocks yet?

As amazing as some of the slow motions are in some of the cinematic videos, the ones in particular of linemen making contact at the snap, seeing the facial expressions and sweat flying off and what not, it’s no wonder how CTE is so prominent in linemen.

It’s only preseason, but that was an impressive win by the Pats. The QB battle is heating up, I think Cam starts the season but Jones is looking good so far.

The Eagles were playing 2nd and 3rd string players. It’s an impressive looking scoreline but means about as much as the Broncos thumping the Vikings backups 33-6 last week.

I agree - I think Cam starts too. Our D has a lot of pieces back so I am hoping we can be competitive at least.

It will be interested to see if and when we will pull Cam for Jones. Obviously no precedent for BB for the last 2 decades ..

Sadly though the bit in bold is probably the most relevant point :(

Say what? No way… don’t say that. Put all my money on a Broncos Lombardi after that roasting :(

On a serious note, if Lock can learn some patience and play for short gains rather than looking for the deep pass every down, then there’s a chance we make the playoffs and at that point anything can happen.

The more likely eventually, however, is he throws as many picks as TDs and we bottom out the maybe the strongest division in the league.

Unless Cam’s an absolute train wreck, I think he’ll get to start until at least week 4 when Brady visits. He had glimpses of the old Cam last year in some games, so IMO his starting job really depends if he can be more consistent throwing the ball & more dependable.

The good thing is there is actually a backup who can step in now should Cam struggle, last year that wasn’t an option. With all the FA signings, players returning from Covid sit-outs & BB likely pissed-off with how well Brady did last year, I’m excited to see how we do.

Mac Jones looks like Brady in that system, and he's an average rookie

I think Lock looked quite good in the opener. I don’t think he’s suddenly going to become elite, but with the rest of your roster, he could be distinctly mediocre and you could make the playoffs.

Me too, feeling positive if not fully optimistic. I think Cam deserves a chance early on in the season. I recon Bill would go further than week 4 though, unless Cam really crashes and burns.

I just want him to be safe and for want of a better word, boring.

Brady has won 6 rings just throwing screen passes and moving the chains, it works.

I mean, in respect of the latter, it’s more than a “just”, but let’s not get into that. But re: Lock yes, if he’s more sensible then I do think it’ll bode well.

Well, I reckon if Eli Manning and Flacco can win Superb Owls then Lock has a chance to get the Broncs into the playoffs. He shares some similarities, like a strong arm…and having a superlative defense next to him.

That defence definitely looks legit.

So apparently the reason Denver passed on Fields was concerns for the long term over his epilepsy which he’s had since he was a kid and from what I’ve read has never had any impact on his game.

Seems crazy to me.

Imagine if the opposing fans decide to use their camera flash at the same time. Has anyone ever tried it?

When do we become concerned about Jamar Chase?

That travel case Zeke bought for Dak cost $13,000 :lol:
The feck. I was actually really thinking “weird that multimillionaires also only give each other 100-200 dollar gifts” :lol:
