I saw something about a guy that had an OROY/SB winners being Chase/Bengals parlay.

Watching Aaron Donald and Von Miller competing with each other to be Super Bowl MVP as they’re chasing Joey around will surely be devastating. I don’t think he’s getting that $250k…

edit: this was preseason when Ja’marr had supposedly forgotten how to catch a football amongst other things…

Stranger things have happened

Hope the Bengals pull it off. Just don't really like the Rams or McVay. Bengals seem to have rebuilt properly while the Rams just sold out for success.

What's the over/under on Donald snapping Burrow in half on the first snap of the Superb Owl?

Chuffed for quite a few guys on the Rams and McVay. First time ever I want both teams to win the SB

@jojojo can you change thread title back to NFL2021, as Raoul (most likely) was dumb enough to make people unhappy.

Cry more. They beat you twice - they are better than you.

First team in NFL history to erase multiple 10+ points halftime deficits against the same team in the same season as well. That's quite the feat against Mahomes.

Don't really know what to expect of the SB game-script wise. The Bengals O-line held up pretty well last night but the Chiefs defensive front isn't necessarily a top unit, that'll be a different story with the Rams as opponent.

Crazy to say but I think Burrow probably has a lot more cool than Stafford if the going gets tough, Stafford to me is the one who occassionally has a brainfart in him and they often come at the worst possible timing. If Trey Hendrickson and others can regularly get to him, that could be a huge factor in the game. On the other side, OBJ and Kupp could run riot against the Bengals D if the Rams scheme them up well.

Such a fun matchup. Rams opening line -4 seems a bit strong to me, might put some money on Joey B later on.

That was an all time chokejob by the chiefs led by Mahomes who was absolutely abysmal in the second half. Bengals kept dropping 8 people in coverage and Mahomes kept dropping back as if that would help

I am just happy we didn't get a Rams v Chiefs SB. That would've been like a Dipper v City CL final.

Burrow definitely has that big game mentality. Almost a bit like Brady. Yesterday Mahomes was exactly the opposite, running around in circles, fumbling and throwing picks when it was crunch-time.

Yeah, not sure if Burrow can avoid the Rams' pass rush, even if he did manage to escape a few times yesterday. I was really impressed by the Bengals secondary, so will be interesting to see if they can limit OBJ and Kupp. They will need to generate more pressure on the QB though - that was a big reason they went down early.

It's a great matchup for sure. Fair to say all neutrals will be rooting for the Bengals and the new Joe Cool? Besides being an excellent QB he has a great personality. Lots of swagger and confidence without coming off as arrogant or cocky. I really like how immediately went to praise the defense in his post-game interview. Really likeable guy.

I’m happy that the Rams won. Hopefully Bengals win SB though.

Exactly that, couldn't agree more!

If OBJ wasn't on the Rams I'd definitely be rooting for the Bengals, although I'd really like it for Stafford as well, being buried on the Lions for that long and then immediately redeeming himself in his first season with an elite team around him.

For all his offensive genius, someone really needs to talk to McVay about his game and time management. Two awful challenges and an unnecessary time-out, they were without TOs with 10:00 left in the 4th Q.

So you came onto the site which is the only place which could have spoiled it?
Just don't open the NFL thread and you're safe, so it's a dick move to update the thread title which spoiled the result on the homepage.

It's so easy to avoid knowing a result. Just don't open social media or any news sites (even though ours don't even report on it) and you're good to go. I always immediately watch Game in 40' when I wake up just to be sure, but not too difficult to watch the Rams-Niners game on e.g. Monday night if you just don't check any socials.

Yes... I agree. Overall they should win the SB as often as possible. This is their window.

He got cocky, seemed to think he could just run in circles and zig zag around and it will always work and someone will be open when he looks up.

Was satisfying to watch his hubris cost them.

And did someone really put the result in the title?

What a dick move, anyone who’s spent more than 5 minutes in the thread knows loads of people watch game in 40 the morning after late games without knowing the scores.

His running in circles and panicking seemed to be praised by Romo throughout the 2nd half too, which was weird.

Though Romo sounded like he'd been pre-gaming at the tailgate. He kept starting sentences and trailing off, and some of his commentary was just bizarre. I usually like Romo a lot, but he was a bit wild last night.

Only 2 QBs with a Natty and SB win, that's Joe Namath and Joe Montana. Joe Burrow can become the third one.

It’s 2022 and I am so amazed that people manage to watch games non live without knowing the results

Come on, most of us just went bed and woke up. I called it a night around 2am with the score 17-14. I was looking forward to catching up on the 4th quarter. It's not like we're spending the entire day avoiding spoilers

How satisfying is it that neither the Packers or Chiefs made the Super Bowl? And especially the way in which it happened. Rodgers amassing a huge 10 points, and Mahomeboy giving up a big lead with his idiotic play - both at home no less. You couldn't ask for more.

I'm so happy. Happy New Year.

So fecking satisfying. This match up is so refreshing.

On the one hand you’ve got the Bengals, a proper underdog story. A genuinely nice guy at QB it seems. Plucky as feck. But with some serious quality to match. Knocked off the AFCs best two teams on the road.

On the other a team which is genuinely unique - I can’t recall any other franchise in recent times going so heavily in on winning by trade / FA rather than the draft. They are the ultimate win now team. Would love to see Donald get the ring he clearly deserves. And OBJ who for some reason bizarrely got blamed for Mayfield being shit - would be good for him to give them the big middy fingy. And always had a bit of a soft spot for Stafford.

I also think this gives the best match up.

Gonna be great. And for once not stressed because I don’t really have a team in it that I don’t want to see win - id be happy if either won it. I’ll figure out who I prefer to win as time goes on over the next couple weeks!
