Burrow was so good again. The composure in that atmosphere & bring down 18, so impressive. Also losing the TE to injury early on.

Credit to the Bengals D too. Completely nullified Mahomes after being dominated in the 1st half.
 
Mahomes obsession with hero ball came back to haunt the chiefs . I said after the last game that it was crazy that chiefs were 1.33 to win an AFC championship game and they just bottled this big time

First and goal with a chance to win and Mahomes ends up Stevie Me'ing himself into kicking a field goal, wins the toss and then throws 2 passes worthy of being picked off before the third one is.

Bonkers to think that the Bengals were the worst team in the NFL two years ago and the Chiefs won the SB that season and here we are with the Bengals beating the Chiefs on the road to book a spot in the SB!

Nice to be in Mexico and be able to watch games at decent times for a change. Weather isn't too shabby either.

They genuinely celebrated winning the coin toss after scoring 3 points in the second half. Bengals proved that OT rules work if defence is solid

That was all-time bad from Mahomes. Could easily have lost them the game at least twice before he finally did. Not to mention all the three and outs. There were at least three times when he had an eternity to throw but ended up getting sacked.

All GOAT talk can be dispensed for a few years. Who the feck chokes that hard?

But I do get your point. It’s a stupid look that you’re actually celebrating it, you still gotta go take that advantage. Chiefs did nothing in second half and so that arrogance was a bit bizarre.
 
Thinking back though - how critical was that duff at the end of the first half stopping Hill inside the field of play and short. If that goes in, I don’t think the Bengals make it back. The whole aura of both locker rooms would have been different.

That was a horrendous decision by the chiefs. I know that hindsight is great but up 21-10 and getting the ball in the second half they had no reason to not take the points there
