Been watching most of the highlights without spoilers, and I'm really enjoying it so far.
A bit hard to follow not knowing who's who of the players for some of the games I've watched, but still really enjoyable.
That 49ers v Packers highlights was something else.

Commentator suggested it counts as 2 feet so would be down.

Yeah looks that way. But after yesterday’s call in the Titans game, you never know!
Titans game didn’t have a clear angle at the exact moment. One cam too high and the other blocked by a player

This one they’ve a clear shot so should be able to clear this up

Why do teams always do stupid shit like this against Brady teams. Foot on the throat, about to take the game out sight. Oh no, here you go good sir, please have the ball back.

Will probably see a safety when Brady gets inevitably sacked.

Update: The Bucs did the wise thing and kneeled it out. I thought there was more time left to run plays.

Rams utterly dominated that half, yet they’re probably disappointed with the fumble!!

That would be an absurd rule - even by NFL standards

To be fair every time I think I understand the rules I get thrown by some random oddity, and I usually assume the commentators know their shit, but I think I was just misunderstanding him tbf.

As @Mike Smalling says, its happened twice in the past but is unlikely to happen ever again. A few years back Russell Wilson scored 37 of the Seahawks 38 touchdowns, dragging us to a 9-7 record but we missed the playoffs thanks to Blair Walsh missing crucial kicks so he got 0 MVP votes. I'm still annoyed to be honest.
About the MVP or the shite kicker? I guess the NFL likes their traditions too much to change the awarding of the MVP. Plus it's not really all that important anyway and just an interesting side note/talking point.

We need our own Mike Pereira and Gene Steratore on the Caf thread for immediate analysis of calls by next season.
