The only Eagles fan I know personally is my girlfriend and she's been saying all season long that they're gonna win the Superbowl, so yeah, your point stands.
I traveled as a journalist for a while. The most annoying people I've met were Philly and DC with their homegrown insanity.
Picking a side between the Cowboys and 49ers is like picking between Liverpool and Tottenham. There are no good options.
It's not like the CL final. One is guaranteed to lose and the other will get beat in the Divisional/Championship game.

I haven't seen a QB fluctuate between excellent and flat out terrible quite as wildly as Jimmy G in a long time. Weird player.
I recall analysts chattering about this "matchup" a few weeks back when NE was on a winning run. They then limped to the finish line and hadn't heard much a peep of this "matchup." It was nonsense to even suggest such considering no rookie QB has ever started a SB let alone guided a team to an appearance. Ben R nearly got there in 2004.
