Never take points off your own board but I guess it kinda made sense given the missed PAT earlier combined with the penalty.

Even a blind man can see Pollard has double the burst Zeke does these days.

Still a tight game this one…

The Cowboys need their pass rushers to get healthy soon, otherwise the top teams will feast on this secondary.

My productivity on Friday morning is once again asking for a game-winning drive in regulation here.

I'm trying to at least watch the first half of the Saints game before calling it a night.

And Brown has cost us the game. That is the worst performance I have ever seen from a professional player

Fitting that an absolute horseshit DPI is gonna decide this game. Officials are a joke this season.

No need to call any names mate. It was soft as feck and they have been all night. Contact doesn’t equal interference.

Thanks for confirming my point, if they didn't call that DPI it would rival the Rams Saints DPI mistake from a few years ago. You need to read up on the rules of the game. I would be furious if they let that slide and my team was on offense. Would be daylight robbery.

Makes sense, should have called your point a clown point rather than implying you were one, I apologize for that. My last post still stands though and no matter how disappointed you may be in a result, we all still have to agree that certain penalties are clear ones, no matter whose team they go against.

Guess McCarthy was just keeping that last timeout as a keepsake for himself

I’m not disappointed or anything, like I said I don’t like nor dislike the Cowboys. Just felt like Jones was simply tracking the WR and it was the receiver who had to turn around and get back to make up for an underthrown pass which is what caused a “collusion”. Need to watch it again to make sure though, but least felt very different from the Saints one a few years back where the receiver was just blasted.

Anyway :) Let’s watch one extra Saints drive before calling it a night.

Three drives, none have crossed the halfway line. Just turned it over on downs. I'm calling it a night. Hope I wake up to a miraculous Saints win.

Oh feck off Cowboys losing the to the fecking Raiders. What was the last quarter like?

Fearing an end-season collapse by Dallas, allowing an average Eagles (possible) or a shit WFT (unlikely) to surpass them. Dallas has three straight road games coming up, all winnable but also losable of course - at Saints, at WFT, at Giants. They finish at home vs WFT and vs Arizona, and at Philly. That last game could be for a division title/playoff spot if they continue losing and the Eagles continue punching above their weight to win. Dallas is 2-0 in division play to date - wins over Eagles and Giants.

Pass defense is a worry at the moment, so is the defensive and offensive line health. Getting Cooper and Lamb back will help the passing game but the running game is an abomination at the moment and Jerry better do the right thing and release Elliott in the offseason instead of wasting money.

Eagles - at Giants, at Jets, vs WFT, vs Giants, at WFT, vs Cowboys - could easily win 4-6 games.
WFT - vs Seahawks, at Raiders, vs Cowboys, at Eagles, at Cowboys, vs Eagles, at Giants - some winnable games in this batch, five straight division contests.

This is basically what I was getting at. I get the counter argument, that the DB is obstructing the receiver from making a play on the ball therefore it's as easy a PI call as there is, but something about that feels fundamentally wrong to me because essentially the QB gets rewarded for the underthrown ball. I guess you could argue he should look at the ball and make an adjustment, yes. But that's also very dangerous to just jam into the receiver if he suddenly stops running and you're looking behind you towards the ball.

Looking at it again, I thought the ball was way more underthrown when watching it live. But Carr basically throws it right at the back of the DB and I don't think the DB clashes with the receiver before the ball hits him either? Of course he obstructs him from making a play on the ball but involuntarily, you can't just make yourself disappear in that scenario. Tricky one imo, and definitely should not be one for me. But strictly looking at the definition of PI, I can see why they make the call. Still don't agree with it.

Yeah the ones in the first Q were worse than the last one, I agree. I just like physical play from DBs, obviously you can't interfere with a receiver but there's nothing wrong with some contact - usually the receiver isn't faultless either, they often initiate contact themselves and imo they are getting a bit overprotected in e.g. deep routes down the sideline.

At least they are pretty consistent with their calls throughout the season, it's even worse in the NBA where a foul in the regular season is usually not a foul anymore in the playoffs.

Cowboys will be fine, they are absolutely brutal against bad teams and I can see them going 3-0 over the next three weeks.

Saints are absolutely awful and it’s sad for them that they are going to be embarrassed on prime time again next Thursday night

I am interested in the RB battle in Dallas btw,it's pretty obvious that Pollard should be RB1

I think you’re certainly safe from WFT. You’d need a particularly poor end to the season to lose out to the Eagles. They’ve got a fairly winnable run on the whole though. So can’t slack too much. I think you guys will be fine.

Just noticed that there is a Hard Knocks “in season” (Colts). Anyone watched it? Any good? And anyone have any idea if and when it’ll be coming to UK game pass?

The way he runs away after as well, what a lil biatch. What was the reason for this anyway? Or just thuggery?
Don’t know if it was retaliation or just idiocy. You rarely see a hit that pops a helmet off, it’s usually just done through grabbing the face mask.
