I completely missed this somehow. This is a big one in such a competitive division.

That’s an odd one, how did he manage to injure his biceps?

Did he flex too hard celebrating a sack or something?!

They’re now ‘officially’ a year away from being relevant in the playoffs. Meanwhile in the West, the Rams are a relatively quiet 4-1 and playing better defense than the Seahawks or Packers (albeit against the East).

Surprised the Bears are not in for him. I think given Bell's ego, he wouldn't want to play second fiddle to CEH at the Chiefs and the path to the starting job is easier at the Bills or Dolphins.

If he's after a ring though you can't go wrong with the Chiefs.

Feck didn’t realise no TNF that’s annoying
Yeah, not only pushed back but pushed back to fecking Monday night. Weird that the Bills get an extra day off and the Titans don't.

If I was Bell, I’d go for a ring in KC or just go for the Fins so I can live in Miami and wear aquamarine jerseys.

Bell expected to sign a one-year deal with the Chiefs, according to Schefter.

I think he’s finished. There’s a lot of mileage on the clock and he doesn’t seem to have the burst anymore.

Agreed about burst/mileage (some problem Gurley has imo) but he's still an above average pass-catching back and can easily be used just for 3th down situations. The Chiefs won't step away from their RB drafted in the first round imo but Bell will be there to replace Darrell Williams, maybe in a slightly bigger role if he plays well.

Same shit, different day. Playing the Bengals in the early window on Sunday.

We touched on Darnold a couple times, and a MMQB guy heard something from an exec that makes lots of sense: the Steelers go in for him as Big Ben’s successor with their late first or a 2nd like Rosen after the Jets draft TL.

He‘s a tough playmaker that fits in with the Steel City ethos. If they can coach him to take care of the ball Steelers’ fans would absolutely love him.

Is Baker Mayfield for Ronald Jones a good deal? I want another RB but not sure what I can get for the qb because I've got 4 and I never really start him.

Stefanski will continue with this run-heavy play action offense even without Chubb, so what you’ve seen so far is what you’ll get from Baker. OBJ enjoying his football again may add TDs but that’s about it.

Not sure if draft chat goes here, but welcome expert advice.. James Connor or Cee Dee Lamb?

Connor is probably the safer bet.

Before the Prescott injury id have said Lamb. Now we just don't know how much he will be targeted, or how much we'll change the playback with Dalton in.

Yep that’s a good deal.

Conner unless you have 3 starting calibre RBs and are very short on WRs. RBs are much more valuable right now, especially Conner who averages close to 20 touches.

Ta.

Zeke and Kareem are the other two picked (Mostert and Henderson on the bench... the Rams one, not the gobby Liverpool one)

WRs are Thielen and Ridley.

In that case you could do with trading Conner away but I'd want a top-12 WR in return, not CeeDee Lamb (his owner probably wants to get rid now while his stock is still high since he hasn't played with Dalton for a full game yet).

So on the 3rd and Goal for Chicago, the offence call a timeout to avoid a delay of game, then get a delay of game penalty, and then the defence calls a timeout. One day, they'll actually snap the ball...
