NFL 2020

Wasn’t expecting to have to leave the second Monday in February free this year to recover.
At least WFH means that I don't have to take a day off Monday and can just slack it all Monday morning.

Silver linings and all that.

Brady acting like he’s never been to a SB let alone won 6 of them... he was poor in the 2nd half but what he’s accomplished this season is very impressive & if he wins another ring, it’ll add to his greatness.

Credit also to Tampa’s D. Last week they shut down Michael Thomas & today made the plays when they needed to. Very impressive.

The issue isn't that it's a holding / PI
The issue is that the rest of them haven't been called today especially ones as obvious
I don’t think that’s true. This was by far the most obvious call. The rest were all on the “probably” side but still iffy. This was nailed on.

Y’all can cry about the refs but in all seriousness, GB have themselves to blame for what happened at the end of their last drive.
That and the TD before half time and the TD after half time
Yup

Andy Reid while leading trusted Chad Henne over his defence to see a game out while Lafleur while trailing picked his defence over Aaron Rodgers

Brady is two third of the way done with ploughing his way through Brees, Rodgers, and probably Mahomes for his 7th ring at age 43. All the anti-GOAT wums better pray Mahomes comes through otherwise any glimmer of doubt will be forever erased.
Should just ride off into the sunset after that but knowing him he'll stick around until he's friggin' 50.

Disagree. I think Buffalo’s D could cause Brady a lot of trouble!

Had every chance to win it but didn’t take our chances. Too often we gave up big plays and couldn’t keep Tampa away from Rodgers often enough. Looks like we’ll have to draft two QBs this year to get that bit more out of Rodgers.
 we've wasted his years here

"First of all I wanna say congrats to my other team Man Utd for beating their arch rivals earlier today!"

I think understandably the focus for now will be on the calls and no calls.

But in my view, not calling a time out in the first half after the first down conversion was just silly.

Then kicking that FG at the end was silly.

I also think (and watch how I get lambasted) that Rodgers doesn’t do anything wrong specifically but at some point one needs to reflect on the fact that he has now lost 4 championship games in a row. Clearly, none of those have been his fault at least entirely but there’s been plenty of players who despite weaknesses across their team have managed to get their teams to the SB and win.At some point it has to be recognised that whilst he is clearly an unbelievably talented QB without doubt one of the best to ever play, he lacks something which drives even imperfect teams to do the extraordinary.

Vea’s presence looked like it unshackled the edges even more, he was constantly drawing doubles & the back in run protection.

American sport is a bit odd in their “respect” for their owners. Imagine if Glazer collected the PL trophy!

He's an attention seeking cnut, but sometimes he's also bang on the money.

I just realised if Tampa win the SB we will see a Glazer collect the trophy. Come on chiefs or bills!

It’s the most stupid part of NFL/NBA trophy presentations. The players & coaches who give so much for the victory & some cnut in a suit comes down to receive the trophy before the players.

I had the sound muted. It looked like Brady was crying there.

Can't recall what segment it was but the talk was New Orleans by the analysts, may have been Inside the NFL. But Brees elected to return and then it came down to Tampa and whomever, enter SF possibly as it was close to his CA family and all.
The Chargers were in there too, or maybe that was just LA talk due to Gisele. Just imagine though, he could’ve went there and we wouldn’t be talking about him right now because they’re the Chargers.

After what he’s done this year with Tampa Bay, I’ll now agree that Brady is the greatest QB to have played the game. Kudos to him.

I find it amazing that the last quarter of American sports basically take forever and coaches still find ways to shit the bed, what the hell was that 4th down call?

You have to think that even with all his success, the vindication for Brady for doing this outside of NE feels really good.
