AB has a partially torn calf muscle, and will be out at least until the postseason :(

Over the years Steelers have been able to get the better of teams with a number of trick plays. Today they out thought themselves and paid a price.

1) pats unlikely to fall for that play
2) only one receiver ran a pattern
3) took too long to develop. Thinking back to Marino doing this be Jets, you need to be quick. A route across the defense was the wrong call, gave Pats more time to react.
4) Take the FG go to OT at home.

Mostly true but also gotta give Butler credit for recognizing the play unfolding and recalling the film. If not for his reading of that play it's a surefire touchdown pass.

But I find that the overwhelming majority of head coaches would have ran the ball three times and then passed on the fourth shot (other factors not considered, i.e. penalties, etc.).
I think most coaches would have gone for the FG and OT at home in that situation after the TD was over ruled.

Let’s be honest, even if it was called a TD, Brady would have marched the band down the field with 28 seconds left. Cause it’s Tom Brady yo.

Dak and cowboys need Zeke. Hes a big part of their game and helps open avenues for Dak.

Dak is a B+ grade QB. Good enough to win you things but not on his own.

Same things were said/thought of about Wilson early on, backed by a great defense and top tier running game he appeared in two SBs and won one. Plenty of QBs could have won in Seattle. But Wilson has progressed from there into elite/near elite status. Dak could very well go on that projectory. Or he could become a McNabb - good but not great; a Vince Young - just never put the talent together; or perhaps a Warren Moon - HOF caliber but never quite elite.

That said, Dak will be coming up on contract talks after the 2018 season and Dallas will be facing a tough decision. Franchise him after the fourth year? Then the same in the fifth year? Give him the going market rate at the time? The going rate may be $30-40m per year by 2019/2020.

Surely Dallas fans wish they had kept Romo. Dak not having the greatest season.

Not in a million years,Dak hasnt had the offensive line this season that he had last and he has some awful options to throw too with Dez and co nowhere near good enough

What an ending & what a huge (lucky) win!!

Good decision on the ruling. Whether the rule is correct is a different matter.

@Phil the discipline though is just pathetic though. The way the Seahawks have melted down for a few weeks in a row now is just embarrassing, both in terms of football quality but also the “extra curricular”.

I don’t really think it’s discipline that has caused poor play, it’s poor coaching, poor OL, average to poor DL and injuries that has caused it for me. The discipline part is a mess, Pete needs to get genuine coaches in and get control of that bloody dressing room/Mike Bennett.

Yeah it’s not the discipline causing poor play. - not what I meant if that’s how it came across.

Bills might escape being the franchise in the 4 major sports With the longest current playoff drought!

Maybe but probably not. They finish the season away to New England followed by Miami while Baltimore are at home to Indianapolis and then Cincinnati. I suppose Tennessee may falter as they have tough games against the Rams and then Jacksonville but they are both at home which unfortunately for the city of Buffalo likely means their playoff drought will continue for yet another year.
