Yaaas Broncos!
That list of inactives
Punt. Punt. Punt.
Why did I stay up?
thanks for helping pick me up thereAnother punt!! Between the constant punting over the last 2 games & being told Jay Ajayi is from Britain, it must feel like Groundhog Day for you
AFC all sorted out. Anything can happen in the playoffs but it's the Chiefs & Steelers that concern me the most. I think Chiefs have a really good chance to win it.
Hopefully we'll wrap up the #1 seed to get home field advantage throughout.
I enjoyed the games yesterday with just highlights and no studio time@EdWeatherall I'm starting to change my mind, "British running back" has been said about eleventy times by Reynolds in the studio.
Unless something absolutely crazy happens Patriots will easily win AFC. Steelers are the only team to fear imo
Half the AFC QBs are second string too.
Miami
Oakland
Houston
Can't see past the Patriots again.
I agree and they're really fun to watch but I don't see them beating NE in NE.KC are for real guys.
Sexy Rexy's reign in Buffalo is over. Still waiting on that Super Bowl guarantee...
What a game by the Cowboys - Dak, Dez and Zeke all with multiple TDs. I wonder if they'll start with Romo next week.
Some good games this week. Tell you something though, Green Bay are coming into it just when it matters.
If Redskins lose to Giants, then both Packers and Lions will qualify, right?
Detroit Lions
Detroit clinches division title:
1) DET win
Detroit clinches a first-round bye:
1) DET win + SEA loss or tie + ATL loss
Detroit clinches a playoff berth:
1) DET tie
2) WAS loss or tie
Green Bay Packers
Green Bay clinches division title:
1) GB win or tie
Green Bay clinches a playoff berth:
1) WAS loss
2) WAS tie + TB win + GB clinches at least a tie in strength of victory over TB
(Note: GB clinches at least a tie in strength of victory tiebreaker over TB if one of the following teams win or tie: SEA, HOU, JAX, PHI. GB has already clinched strength of schedule tiebreaker over TB in this scenario)
Washington Redskins
Washington clinches a playoff berth:
1) WAS win + GB-DET game does not end in a tie
2) WAS tie + GB loss + TB loss or tie
If Redskins lose to Giants, then both Packers and Lions will qualify, right?
I think Romo will get a quarter or something. I think Dak will start cos of the week off after and they dont want him to lose too much momentum
Yeah it sucks, and (of course not the NFL's fault) the timing of the last two weeks is pretty bad too - I have better things to do during Christmas Eve and New Year's Day... Still looking forward to the end though, especially who wins the NFC North and AFC West will be interesting for playoff positioning.Last week of the regular season a few days away - can't believe we are already nearing the playoffs!

Hi all. Long time absentee. And Pats fans (please dont throw things).
Weird one this season. With the Raiders untimely injury to Carr, are there any other Pats fans who would be far more inclined to rest starters as it's less likely Oakland get the W they'd need to secure 1st seed? And even if they did, unlikely to proceed in playoffs?
For what it's worth, it's awful what happened to Carr. Seems like a genuinely nice guy too - and I have some long suffering raiders fan friends who have drunk more than usual in the last week..
Hey
For the bolded part, no. Winning this game is crucial because:
1) Last year losing home field in the last game is what ultimately had a big impact in the championship game IMO.
2) We don't want to lose momentum especially as after this week we won't be playing for a while.
3) Keeping Miami at 6 is better for us.
4) If Oakland get the first seed then they will most likely be facing the Chiefs in the divisional round and we will be facing the Steelers. I'd prefer to avoid Steelers until the championship game.
I think we should go out there with our first team for at least the first half. If we are up big we rest the starters. If we are down big we rest the starters. If it's close then I think we keep them on.
I was listening to Cowherd the other day when he was doing his weekly NFL Vegas odds, and the expert noted KC as one team that isn't nearly as good as their record going by all the metrics that the sharps use. Found that interesting.KC are for real guys.
1) Agreed. But we'd get homefield now regardless up until (and really unlikely) that we meet Oakland in the AFC Championship game.
2) A fair point - although momentum could be killed by injuries to even more players.
3) Had forgotten that to be honest.
4) I couldn't choose between the 2 of them, both horrible teams on their day!
Last week of the regular season.
Sounds like a lot of managers leaving this year. Kubiak, Kelly, some others.
