Great catch. That should settle a few nerves.

No that's about it, cheers. Every year I learn a new thing about NFL. Maybe I'll be a fully fledged fan, when I'm older.

Kapernick takes off himself for some decent yards and a new set of downs.

Great play, Niners moving the chains. I like the look of this.

Nice! Come on, punch it in for a TD now...

fecking hell. Bastards Baltimore.

Good D.

Ray is far too slow, he was too slow for Hernandez against the Pats and now tonight he is still slow as shit. And as I type the Ravens sack Kapernick...

7-3.

Should be all tied. That was a good drive until the end, good D from Baltimore.

Bloody hell, I'm actually enjoying this now I know what's actually happening a lot more.

Shit forgot about Akers, it would be typical though if he won the Super Bowl with a kick.

Hmmm Reed might have a knee injury but he was moving fine closing Kaepernick down on 2nd&Goal.

Any idea what time this might end?

Giving BBC's coverage a go also.

Are there statistics on how much time they actually spend playing and how much time with standing around and time-outs?

I mean first found all that really annoying but I'm starting to see the benefit of it, it gives you time to talk about the game, get something to drink or eat, looks something up on the internet and still not miss the essential parts of the game.

But it was def strange the first time I watched am. football.

BBC's coverage is miles better than Sky.

Reed will be a loss if he's out.

Sky is wank.

Ch4 is good. Though Nat Coombs/Mike Carlsson can be cringey at times. Carlsson makes corny jokes and obscure cultural references that Coombs doesn't get and he doesn't know how to react.

Coombs knows his stuff, though.
