Every sequence of games is a nasty run of games for this club now
Six points from the next two and the start would be very salvageable, but I’ve no confidence in our away games.
I can’t even look beyond Southampton, where I cannot for the life me see us winning. 12:30 away on a Sat after internationals with all those players flying back late. No excuse, but a complete reflection of where we are.
If we were still a good team, it wouldn’t be a tough run of games.

Anything other than a convincing win and performance against Southampton and its lights out for Ten Hag.
Considering our away record in recent months is absolutely shocking, I'm not expecting us to win any of those but we should at least beat Southampton. Could get a win against Brentford, but then again, how home form in the same period has been shit.

Just looking back at my post a month ago, and sadly the points tally is on target after 4 games, ie 4 out of 12 so far. Looking ahead, I still see us losing to Villa and West Ham, ie with a win against the Bees we'll have a grand total of 10 pts after 9 games.

But if we look only as far as the international break, then we've got Porto away first. Lose that and get beaten by Villa and surely it has to be game over for ETH? It'll be just his luck to get a jammy win against Villa to buy himself some more time.
