Partly down to us leaving it so damn late in the window again. We are such amateurs it's ridiculous.

The squad management has been poor since SAF left. Thought we'd improved a bit after last season but this summer has been a shambles again.

They've had basically one training session for the team. They'll get a chance. It's a long season.

All very true but the fact they've only had one training session is down to poor planning from the club.

Well 1 of them isn't even at the club. The other is an 18 year old lad from South America.

Cavani should have been brought to the club far, far sooner. Bit of a mystery why the other two lads aren't starting though. We look to be shutting shop defensively and going back to basics, it's going to be ugly today. I'm going to need a whiskey or three.

I'm not saying we should be starting the two kids, just that it's frustrating that we haven't improved the team despite 5 signings etc.

I can certainly concur with the turning to drink bit, although mine will be a rum or three.
