Dunno, he had some long name I couldn't pronounce. Seems a bit of a gamble, only ever played one first team game, could be a massive flop.

Could be the one - would only cost £200,000 due to lack of first team appearances, and its from one of our feeder clubs so there should be no problem getting them to agree. ;)
 
We definitely need a 4th striker, in case of injury or simply to have another option if the other 3 aren't performing.

The problem is how are we going to accommodate 4 strikers if we play 4-5-1 most of the time, which we've been doing this year? If 3 of the strikers are left on the bench most of the time, they're not going to be happy.

But if we revert back to 4-4-2, for me, that leaves Scholesly and Seba fighting it out for one position. And they've been 2 of our best performers the last few weeks. Who would you leave out?

The striker situation has been eased somewhat because of Ole's success on the right. But I wonder how long Fergie's going to stick with Ole. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just have this sneaking suspicion that even if Ole continues to play well on the right, Becks is going to somehow find his way back into the team...which will in all likelihood leave Ole on the bench again. And if Ole's going to be struggling to find a match, where would that leave Diego and our 4th striker?

But we've still got Kezza and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink! (ow, Dutch names are just great!)

Maybe £300k if he starts a few more games in the next few weeks and does well. ;)

I agree, Byland I think would be a great buy, and he is only 19, and from I know of him he would be very happy to sit on the bench and wait to be called upon

I've got a shirt with Vennegoor of Hesselink on the back of it! And it fits! Okay, it's a smaller size letters, but it's just as expensive as f.e. Addo... I'll try to find a pic of it. :D

Hofland has been injured for quite a while now. He writes a column in a free newspaper every week and he has said that he's afraid to have the same problem with his ancle Marco van Basten has.
Hofland has been operated a few weeks ago and he is expected to be back in a few weeks. I hope he will return as good a he was his first year. But I'm afraid he might have lost a little of his quality. So talking about selling is a bit too early I suppose.

I am french and in the french league, I think that Djibril Cisse is the best striker. He is only 22 and he is the most explosive of all the forwards in the world... For United, the best tranferable player in mercato.
