If I'm not mistaken, black was incorporated into United's colours after Munich.
So I'm not complaining about it since it reminds us of the Flowers of Manchester.

Not sure about that.....they wore black socks for many years before that, so there's always been black in the kit. Anyway, I quite like the kits, though I prefer this years Umbro one because it's the first time for a few years that we've had a plain and simple red shirt with no gimicky stripes or zips ou buttons etc etc....
I like them.
Don't really know why, but I like when our kits have a bit of black in them. A bit more intimidating, in a way. Always preferred United to play in black shorts too...

i used to love our adidas kits, especially the combination of the black shorts and red top...
three stripes.
The 78-80 white with 3 stripes was my favourite away shirt.
All of them are very nice much better than I anticapated.

I like them too. Especially the away one.
Nike didn't do to bad of a job. I like the 3rd kit, nice touch with the blue, much like the blue kit we had I think back in the 80's, not sure which year.....The away kit has to be the best we've ever had, the socks and the red ring on the end of the sleeves complete the kit. The home kit......well lets take off the black on the jersey and replace it with white and add the black shorts. I agree UNITED does look good in black shorts!!! IMO!!!!!!!!

I'm actually liking this shirt more and more as long as the piping that comes from the two collar bone inlets does go down the torso. In the photo it isn't as pronounced though.
Still, I'm happy. It seems United got the better design team at Nike HQ and arse got the 'kin druugies or summink, jeez, their kit is awful!

yep, allways loved our red & black combination. I miss Addidas & Sharp.
I think the Champions League kit in 99 was pretty good.It`s the only kit that worked with the white socks though.

I think if you think of the brazil or korea shirt in utd colours with the netting on the lower back you will not be far wrong nearly all the nike kits in the world cup were identical design

The away kit is like the USA kit. However, we are all discussing whether we like these kits when we dont even know if they will look like this? Simply speculation like it has been throughout the off season.
Personally i dont care what its like ive ordered one anyway the red one above is like a few that have appeared near where i live are the real/fake who cares we will find out next week hope there all wearing fakes that look nowt like the real thing

Really like the home, away collar a bit dodgy & I wish they would change the badge back to the old one and put 'football club' back in
