Nesta 'runs out of patience'

Noticed Nesta quoted this morning that he has finally run out of patience with Lazio supporters.
Apparently they booed their own team every time they scored against Inter last Sunday, fearing it would hand the title to arch rivals Roma.
He's clearly pissed off... now is the time to strike. Let's go in there and get him I say...

I think any player who gets selected regularly to play centre back for the Italian national team is a very good player. I wish I could say the same about centre backs playing for our national team.

Of course Nesta is a good player, but couldn't we get better value for our money somewhere else? He IS expensive you know.

Just to be picky, I don't think Zidane cost 57m..... More like 50m, I think. Anyway, tremendous player that he is, is always heaps better for France than he is for his clubs.... But no, I think there's equally amount of hype and quality re ZZ. :p

BTW, Nesta was AWESOME in Euro 2000. Doesn't seem like the same player now which is a shame. He could however come back to his usually high standards.....

Nesta is coming to Man Utd next season. Apart from hi spat with their fans ,Veron was his and Crespo's best mate and they both said the miss him terribly ealier this season. And anyway, the Juventus site claim United is ahead of them in the Race to sign Neats. They have doubtd that they will even prize him away from us.
As for his doubters, i really wonder whether you watch football at all!

You are having a laugh! I scored 9 goals in a 10-0 win against Priorswood once. Admittedly I wasn't playing at centre back and thus it's not much of a feat but still....... ;)

Dans, the "Nesta is a hype" thing is a pearl of football judgement. Worth an Oscar...
Plus, it's incredible how almost everybody relegates the defensive phase into a dark corner. And the price issue on Nesta? Truth is, IMHO, that it's much easier to find quality forwards or strikers for an obscene amount of money, than true defensive stars. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" />
 
So that's why British teams have such bad defences is it? Because floyd reckons Nesta is all hype? Quality logic that.
 
As I said many other times here, Nesta is a superb player, one of the best defenders in the world, a leader on the pitch, a serious athlete and an excellent team-mate.
If he ever comes to OT I will cry for the joy.
