Based on one highlight watch.

Seems very fast and good on the break from left wing. This could translate very well to the basic requirement for an attacking WB.
He’s 2 footed and importantly gets goals and assists.

To the bad; his skill on the ball looks very unothodox, yet weirdly effective if he is getting the numbers.

We dont know if its bullshit but he could be a cheap punt similiar to pellestri.

I watched all of Romero’s video and had to scroll to the bottom of this thread to find out whether or not he plays on the left. If they’re counting him his back up to Amad, then I guess, but like you said not a priority.

Ask our fans and they will tell you every player in our squad is crap. I put little faith in online comments

Think i read 4 or 5 goals + 4/5 assists? Plus he got more than 10 goals in the belgium league.

For somebody i’d earmark for WB thats promising numbers.

He isn't playing WB for Salzburg though so I'm not sure why he'd be a good fit there. He's simply a not very good wide forward.

Amad didnt play wing back until Amorim came here.
Wingers can be repurposed to play that role. I think Dorgeles has a certain skill to play there.

Is it enough, I don’t know. But that would be vivells call.

No idea about him. But after reading this thread, what I know about him is that Salzburg fans don’t rate him and they are happy to get rid.

Does this guy have superb work rate? May be he can be used as wingback. Despite of using wingers as wingbacks in Sporting, Amorim is still insisting to use inverted fullback like Mazraoui and Dalot as his wingback in here. May be he just haven’t find a winger with superb work rate that suits the wingback role. IMO we need an attacking minded player to play at least one of the wingback role.
 
Are there any Salzburg fans who can give a genuine opinion on him? If we're getting someone like him for the WB role, wouldn't Quenda be a better option?

But we just need to look at Harry Maguire or even Amad to see that systems and managers matter.

Let's be honest, fans really know feck-all about coaching and managing teams, if the Caf's collective comments on Maguire are anything to go by. Or go back to the Caf comments of Amad just a few months ago when under ETH.

Forums are just a sounding board to get shit off their chest, and all with fantastic hindsight vision. If you take it as some platform for player evaluation, then there is a bridge I can sell you.

I am sure Salzburg fans are not immune to the same challenges.

Can you name a couple who were 'hated' (I am assuming you mean whose quality was questioned) and then went on win or are likely to win it in the near future?
 
I would take the criticism of Salzburg fans with a pinch of salt. They are not used to a crap season like this, therefor all players must be crap.

i don't know if he is any good as I have never seen him play but I trust the scouting department more than the average austrian football fan.

Would be multiple times more expensive and I assume we'll be in for some other players of them before him (Gyokeres, Inacio).

The reviews from fans seem pretty alarming, but it could be that the scouting team has identified skills that would benefit our system. Either way it would be a cheap (< 10m) punt, nothing along the lines of the Antony/Memphis signings.
 
I don't know the player at all since watching Salzburg went out of fashion years ago, but something about his dribbling reminds me of Crystal Palace.

Probably starts from him, yeah. They've had a few of those dribblers who take the "how are you gonna guess what I'm doing when I don't bloody know?" approach in recent years. It's enjoyable.

No just no. He is nothing special at all. He is not a regular starter @ Salzburg. The worst Salzburg we have seen in the last 12 years! He is a rotation player in the Austrian Bundesliga at best, but should not be near the EPL!
