theres no chance, and he's apparently been poor at inter. we need to rebuild the spine not bring back the old one.
When did you last watch a full Vidic performance?Im sure that current Vidic would be better for us than the trainwreck Evans has been for us this season. Besides, his leadership was excellent and we currently have no leadership at the back.

Last season, I have not seen him for Inter but obviously, the consensus is that he hasnt been good for them. I would think that he is having a hard time adjusting to a new league at his age. He wasnt that bad for us last season, certainly not our worst defender. When did you last watch a full Vidic performance?
Hmm? I am saying current Vidic cant be worse than Evans this season. Evans doesnt belong at this club either. At least Vidic would bring leadership qualities if he were in Evans' place.Better than trainwreck Vidic?
There would be absolutely no benefit in him coming back. Love the guy, but no.
Didn't see much of it during our last dreadful campaign.Hmm? I am saying current Vidic cant be worse than Evans this season. Evans doesnt belong at this club either. At least Vidic would bring leadership qualities if he were in Evans' place.
Except for De Gea, everyone was bad last season.Didn't see much of it during our last dreadful campaign.

Like being a mentor to our young centerbacks like McNair, Blackett, maybe even Rojo, and being the best communicator in our defense on the field. Who knows, he might even thrive in a 3-5-2.Like leading himself off the ship in January?

Was our worst defender last season.

Almost in all his games for Inter he was awful in 3-5-2 system.
Past his best, released at the right time. Legend all the same.
Vidic and Rio were both past their best last season. Attention falling on Moyes saved them being scrutinised. I can only ever see him coming back as a defensive coach, and play occasionally if required.Anyone who seriously says yes has not watched him this season. He's a shadow of himself, really sad to watch.
I think the two of them were rather fortunate their true declines were shown under Moyes as you say, but that really was the only time. With Vidic, he was constantly off the field with fairly long injuries in his last few years at the club, whilst Rio in SAF's final season had a brilliant season January-onward. Didn't he make it into the BPL TOTY? The same couldn't have been said of Patrice, unfortunately. Worked into the ground, and no longer had the legs to claw his way out.Vidic and Rio were both past their best last season. Attention falling on Moyes saved them being scrutinised. I wish we had someone that aerially dominant now on our backline. Watching every goal kick bounce 3 times before our defenders get onto it was was like torture porn.
The former Manchester United captain has been strongly linked with a return to England after joining the Nerazzurri as a free agent last summer. He has a contract with Inter until June 2017.
But asked if Vidic would stay at Inter, the 33-year-old’s agent, Silvano Martina, told Gazzetta dello Sport: “I think he should, yes, because he has another two years left on his contract. In fact, I want to reveal something. Last year, he [Vidic] made a specific choice to come to Milan, even though Manchester United wanted to keep him and kept calling up to December.”

So the club/Moyes did want to keep him, it was his choice to go. Oh if we had him in his prime
