Reckon over there that the food is actually shite, its a poor country and they ain't gonna be serving up 5 courses of delicacies. Might have COD though.

maybe not.... but its seems a fertile place, so i don't doubt it has good food.
i've never had vietnamese food believe it or not.. but i can assure you that you will love thai food.. the authentic kind.. if you have a taste for spicy food then look no further.
With reference to Van Bommell, its really coincidental that he was menthioned, don't expect anyone to believe me,but i am invloved in footy memorabilia & know a guy in Holland whos brother is his agent (also Bergkamps), he actually told me last week Van Bomell is coming to the Uk for one of the top 3 teams in the uk, ruling out the scousers,that leaves us & the arse-nils..he couldn't discloe who as nothing is 'in concerete' but does sound promising now....you never know it could be true.

As for Van Bommel....not impressed..totally bossed by Vieira,despite us being down to 10 men...but why should I be surprised?....Vieira bosses everyone,because ,as Gary Speed says....he is the best !!

it could be the environment of the team.. Arsenal have more quality players than PSV so it is possible that Van Bommel had to take care of too many things.. i still see him as a good future buy for the club anyhow..
we'll probably need a very strong CM to stand by him, but i think Van Bommel could run the show.

I don't believe the one who said the thing about knowing the brother of Van Bommels agent, because as far as I know, most of his contracts and other stuff are dealth with by his father. But it might be he just helps them with some contacts.
Van Bommel is the best player PSV has. And I think when he goes to ManUtd he'll be a great together with Ruud. They played together at PSV and that went really very well. Van Bommel plays central on the midfield, but often assists the strikers and the defenders when needed.
This summer there was already some contact between Van Bommel and Arsenal, but there was nothing signed. Van Bommel is going to England for sure.
He is a really tough player who is not afraid to be kicked and to kick back (which results in quite some red cards in European games). He has a great overview and is the king of the small passes in Holland. And he is a real coach for his colleagues (that's why he's our captain) and also has a great shot (which you remembered )
Van Bommel is more a player for the 4-4-2 system and Van der Vaart is better in a 4-3-3 system. I think that's the main difference between the two of them. And Van Bommel is almost never injured. And Van Bommel made his debut in the Dutch League at the age of 16, so he already has quite some experience.
At the moment is shape isn't that good, but that can be explained quite easily, because he recently became the father of twins.
Last thing: A nice fact: Mark van Bommel's father-in-law is Bert van Marwijk, trainer of Feyenoord...

Van Bommel is a good player, but I think he'll go to Arsenal. Last year already there were rumours that he would go to Arsenal, to replace Vieira if he went to Real Madrid. Vieira didn't go, so v.Bommel didn't go anywhere else also...
I still think Vieira will go to Real and that v.Bommel is going to replace him in London....
As for United, I don't think U need him. If you have Veron, Keane, Beckham and Giggs, you don't need v.Bommel. Some say that he could replace one of them in a few years, but that won't be, because there's no way that v.Bommel is going to stay in Eindhoven another 2 years after this season....

If Van Bommel came to us I think it would only be if Keane was on his way out.
The rumour is he will be moving with Hofland in a 'double' deal & i do think its to arse-nil i'm affraid..if we didn't buy Rio & oshea hadn't come on as good as he has, it may have been different.
